Nice to see you back MagnusP.
I'd noticed your absence but forgotten that you were wandering the world.
That's stopped me from worrying and sending a PM asking if you'd fallen
in a lifeboat and hadn't quite made it.

Ta 1DC; shutter release for single shots is fubar, but video trigger works, so I have a LOT of 1-2 second clips. The house and travel insurance companies are wriggling, so I'm waiting for a repair estimate before I decide whether to get it fixed, or bin it and buy another. Sigh.

Wassup, Ibster? What happened at 05.30? You're not injured, I hope ...?

Bluey, your query to Ibbie reminds me for some reason of an "audience interaction" with a Brit comedienne. She asked if anyone had broken anything having sex. Usual responses, coffee table, bedside lamps &c., until up piped someone with the reply "my banjo string". We are not talking musical instruments here. One trusts that Ibbie has not suffered an incident of that nature.

Good news received this afternoon, that the English courts have accepted my son's case to get access to his children.

One trusts that Ibbie has not suffered an incident of that nature.
No Magnus. Even the dog is ok, though she did require rescuing by Mrs IB, as I landed on her tail when I hit the deck (marble floor).

Just for the avoidance of confusion, 1DC is referring above to my damaged camera, and not any banjo-string-related mishap! Repair will be 103, so with my 75 excess it's under 30 more.

Ibbie, delighted to hear both about the court decision and the relatively happy outcome for both you and the mutt.

Cramp fairy came to call at 2am and 4am this morning. At 4, she brought her friend the insomnia fairy, so I gave up about half five and have been in the garden cleaning Duplo (like Lego but bigger) in anticipation of my great-nephew coming to visit tomorrow. Retirement is interesting.

Reply on its way, Nervous. Mog is back on the injections unfortunately after a good long spell in remission. She is "well" in herself and doesn't even notice the twice-a-day injections ... mainly because she has her face in some tuna at the time (my cunning plan for a distraction). She spends much of her time doing her sleeping practice as does her sister, the Other Little Madam ... the pair of them could sleep for Australia!
