Cockney Steve - A converted starting pistol would have little street cred with his buddies equipped with Tec 9s and Uzis etc.

Tec 9? really?

What a bunch of stamped sheet metal junk.

At least the Uzi had a bit of design innovation...

421dog:

Agreed, the Tec-9 was a rather large piece of dog poo-poo. Plastic and cheap stamped metal. And good for firing up to about 50 meters. Good for gang-bangers trying to impress their brain-dead friends but that's about it.

None better.

JB himself thought it his magnum opus, and if a bakers dozen won't do you, you're screwed anyway.

(not mine, but I've got one with better blue, wood grips and a burr hammer.)

Very nice piece of hardware. For a pistole of course. I'm a long gun type of guy myself though. I prefer taking things out from a good safe distance.
Which my Bush. carbon 15 does quite well.

I think the word you are looking for is "compensator." As in helps keeps the muzzle down and enables faster target re-acquisition.

Common, rookie mistake, no worries.

The question for our foreign correspondents remains:

Why do you care?

Nope, I know what a compensator is.

What makes you think I care?

Hmmm...This is what Wiki has to say about 'empathy'

Empathy has many different definitions that encompass a broad range of emotional states, including caring for other people and having a desire to help them; experiencing emotions that match another person's emotions; discerning what another person is thinking or feeling; and making less distinct the differences between the self and the other.
A very rare commodity and not much at all to be found among the posters on this site.

Good to hear. Did you get the army model that next to the rotary selector switch says, BANG or BANG BANG BANG or NO BANG?

No, the end is just that. There's no special criteria required.
