Sir George

Very good and true point indeed.

Seems every couple of years an example turns up be it the UK, US (the Church), Oz (The Church and other religious orgs that were charge with looking after the children) and probably many others.

Lessons are not learnt, they are swept aside, hidden or forgotten and
some of the people promoted out of the way !!! The Vatican seems a good place to try to move people !

The denial of justice to these estimated 1400 vulnerable children is a disgrace for British society and a failure of the Police , social workers , local government , and parents. Those found at fault should be named. All of them.
The enemies of Britain are watching how we respond. Political correctness is destroying the centuries old , hard - won social fabric , morality and ethics of this great nation , and while we're at it , multiculturalism will never work without explicit rights and responsibilities for all. Don't like it ? Don't worry about leaving , you will be deported. See how you like living in Pakistan.
If the enemies of Britain see that we tolerate this by our inaction as a society , well good luck to us all in the future. I put the blame for this at the altar of religion , how's that for PC ?

As we are finding out in Aus, it is endemic in some cultures and they don't lose it when they come to a new country.

A good example is underage marriage.

Since a few have been "uncovered" here in Aus, they are now targeting this sector of society.

The same as rape of young girls by Indians and Pakistani's is par for the course in those countries,
although the attitude seems to be changing !

"I am in charge but I am not responsible"
Yup, we all know that one, and the other one

"I take full responsibility",
delivered in sonorous tones by the incompetent fool at the top, who has no intention of resigning, paying back the money, what ever it might be. "Taking full responsibility" appears to be fully discharged, in the weird, corrupt world of the great and good, by saying that's what you are doing, and no more.

There are exceptions, and one person involved in the S Yorkshire saga has resigned, having "taken responsibility". Now, what's the betting that he has gone off with a fat pension intact, possibly a pay-off, and a new job in a year or two?

"Lessons have been learned" means "Yes, I screwed up royally but overnight I have changed all my ways, been personally forgiven by God and I am now ready to resume my (well paid and cushy) career with a new wisdom and humility. ( If you dumb sods just buy the story).

Feed the B*****ds to the sharks.

BOING

That first paragraph sounds just like the description of Cardinal Pell,
who went from Archbishop of Melbourne, then Sydney to the Vatican
where he has since been promoted

All the while responding to what we call over here a "Royal Commission" inquiry about how he and
others covered up abuse in the Catholic Church and paid off victims and hindered them from going
to the Police.

Yep, they get away with Murder.

BBC: The inquiry team noted fears among council staff of being labelled "racist" if they focused on victims' descriptions of the majority of abusers as "Asian" men.
And the BBC, quoting "Asian" rather than the specific ethnicity of the abusers is just as complicit. You couldn't make it up.

What a shit country the UK really is now, it really has sunk to unimaginable depths.

I feel less proud to be British as every day passes.

An insight into the mindset of those who are running the show...

"we should not concentrate on the fact that the majority of the perpetrators were of Pakistani origin because this will lead people to overlook other races who are involved in these practices."

I used "Lessons will be learnt" in an ironic sense because that is what these scum ALWAYS say.

As to learnt or learned :

"What is the difference between learned and learnt?
These are alternative forms of the past tense and past participle of the verb learn. Learnt is more common in British English, and learned in American English. There are a number of verbs of this type (burn, dream, kneel, lean, leap, spell, spill, spoil etc.). They are all irregular verbs, and this is a part of their irregularity

source: Ask Oxford.com (Oxford Dictionaries)"

Now FFS get a life or at least Google it before hijacking a thread on Child Abuse with discussions about the English Language.

That is one of the biggest cop outs I have seen.

How about "bust this Paki lot and then look for others in other cultures".

People at the top of Rotherham Council are refusing to resign.....

Strategic Director of Children and Young Peoples Services: £125,530
Strategic Director Development Services: £125,530
Strategic Director of Neighbourhoods and Adults Services: £125,530
Strategic Director of Resources: £132,954

Where else would such useless people find employment except in this Socialist cabal?

Remember, this was the council that removed children from a foster family because they were supporters of a heinous organisation called UKIP.

Following the removal of the children after two months of care, the couple, in their fifties, told the BBC they were "bereft".
They said they were told their care was exemplary, but their UKIP membership had presented a "safeguarding issue for the children".
The couple said they had joined UKIP because of its stance on Europe, but social workers said the party had "racist" policies.
Following an internal review, Rotherham Council said it had taken action to strengthen the way it made decisions and how it communicated information.
It said there were still "important lessons" to be learned.
BBC News - Rotherham Council apologises over UKIP foster row

I know what lessons should be impressed on those responsible, but they will probably be allowed to slither away with their pensions intact.

It is simply time to get rid of PC and start mass deportations. It is obvious now that these people hate the west and the western countries that they live in. It is time to send them all back to the cultures they desire to live in. Then they can shoot, kill, blow up, rape who ever they want. All while banging their heads on the floor 5 times a day.

It gets worse. In that link, the PCC was "PCC Shaun Wright was responsible for children's services at
Rotherham Council from 2005 to 2010."

So not only is he now PCC but was in charge of the children during that time !

You could not make it up !

They're not happy

They're not happy in Gaza ..
They're not happy in Egypt ..
They're not happy in Libya ..
They're not happy in Morocco ..
They're not happy in Iran ..
They're not happy in Iraq ..
They're not happy in Yemen ...
They're not happy in Afghanistan ...
They're not happy in Pakistan ..
They're not happy in Syria ..
They're not happy in Lebanon ..

SO... WHERE ARE THEY HAPPY?

They're happy in Australia ..
They're happy in Canada ..
They're happy in England ..
They're happy in France ..
They're happy in Italy ....
They're happy in Germany ..
They're happy in Sweden ...
They're happy in the USA ..
They're happy in Norway ...
They're happy in Holland ..
They're happy in Denmark ...

Basically, they're happy in every country that is not Muslim
and unhappy in every country that is!

AND WHO DO THEY BLAME?

Not Islam.
Not their leadership.
Not themselves.

THEY BLAME THE COUNTRIES THEY ARE HAPPY IN !

AND THEN - They want to change those countries to be like
THE COUNTRY THEY CAME FROM WHERE THEY WERE UNHAPPY!
Excuse me, but I can't help wondering...
How damned dumb can you get?
Everyone seems to be wondering why Muslim
Terrorists are so quick to commit suicide.
Lets have a look at the evidence:
- No Christmas
- No television
- No nude women
- No football
- No pork chops
- No hot dogs
- No burgers
- No beer
- No bacon
- Rags for clothes
- Towels for hats
- Constant wailing from some idiot in a tower
- More than one wife
- More than one mother-in-law
- You can't shave
- Your wife can't shave
- You can't wash off the smell of donkeys
- You cook over burning camel shit
- Your wife is picked by someone else for you
- and your wife smells worse than your donkey
- Then they tell them that "when they die, it all gets better"???

Well No Shit Sherlock!....
It's not like it could get much worse!

There is a obvious sociological reason for the phenomenon, in that culture they are not allowed even a sniff of the females of their own society until their wedding night, and the girls know if they even stray slightly they are liable to end up being buried somewhere on the moors by pop and bro for offending family honor, ergo if they dont want to spend most of their lives pulling themselves they look around and see what is easiest available.
They live by the rules of a religion designed to keep a bunch of illiterate goat herders living in a tent village under control and prevent them nobbing each others wives and daughters and sharing the bairns out at xmas.

This seems to me to be another case of everyone is so intent on not offending the Pakis - and possibly infringing their "human rights" that everyone forgets about the children and that kids were being raped.

The question I would always ask if someone said that to me (ie the cover up) would be "what if it was your child" ?

Basil
"Even the BBC is outraged at the behaviour of those men; now there's something."

It's called a guilty conscience, they are as bad as the council and the Police but they
want people to forget the past.

I think that says a great deal about the state of local government in this country. Jobs in the public sector seem to be handed out by local party hacks to their own activists as a reward for good behavior or to return a favour rather than on the basis of competency or experience. And these people then just seem to circulate round local government from one juicy sinecure to another. It never ceases to amaze me the heights to which such utterly useless oxygen thieves are able to rise within the system. And of course, when they do eventually get caught out they’re able to depart with generous payoffs, full pensions etc.

Perhaps the time has come to charge some of the people who knew, or at least had a very good idea what was going on, with conspiracy to rape or to traffic children. If some of these people began to understand that they might actually be accountable for their decisions, to the extent that they might end up in jail, then maybe they'll be a bit more careful.
