Have just heard of a big fire at Manchester Dog's Home, 40+ dogs died ...
Strewth I hope Rusty doesn't see that, he'll go mental. What a complete bastard that fourteen year old is. When you guys have finished with him I'll introduce him to some people I know who will explain to him very carefully why what he did was a Bad Thing. Those poor dogs. I'm gonna have nightmares about this.

It was good to read in the news that 150 dogs were saved though.

Ooooh ... how interesting!! I have just had a call from my bank to advise that they have cancelled my MasterCard and are sending me a new one. It seems that my bank was advised by the police (fraud squad) that my card had been used with a company whose security systems had been hacked (they did not say which company though). In order to protect me (and their other customers) all cards used for transactions with that company have been immediately cancelled.

In order to double check on this, I called my bank, explained what had happened and asked them to confirm that the call was genuine. It was. I'm certainly impressed with the prompt and decisive action, so well done that bank!

Morning folks, dawn is just about to break - should one apply an elastoplast or gaffer tape?

Shocking news about the dogs home.

Morning all.
Must have been the noise of that dawn breaking that woke me.

Number of dogs that perished is now 60.

Morning folks.

60 dogs now reported to have died in the fire last night. A fund set up last night has already passed the 130,000.

The scrote who did the deed needs to be hung drawn and quartered, publically in Heaton Park. If the police let him out, on bail, I would not like to vouch for his safety.

It is reported that the great actor Donald Sinden has expireded.

Have happened across two new offerings from Guinness, Porter and West Indian Porter.

When that news broke last night I had one dog on my lap and another had wriggled in between my thigh and the arm of the sofa. I shed a couple of tears. Those poor creatures, locked in and terrified.

A man called on the telling-bone last evening. He was from "the IT company" and he said that they had detected that whenever I log on to the internet, a security risk in my operating system was allowing hackers to load malware on my computer to mine my data and passwords. I said "Oh! What operating system?" He said it affected all Windows operating systems. "Harrumph! I don't have any microshaft computers so you're talking out of your arse. Good-bye!"

Sadly, there are less savvy people out there who will fall for it.

Greetings,

Happies Speedy

Very upset about events in Harpurhey. SM has had two dogs from there in the past so very upset, scrote. He needs hanging by the Katangans.

The boat that Ibbie promised was in and out under cover of darkness, it went past all lit up heading for Barcelona.

RBG would be pleased, it has a park in it

This, reported in Windermere Water. A model? A real
refugee from Scottish silliness?

It's been given the name Bownessie!!

(p.s. it's just Windermere from the Wiking Vinder's Mere, Mere being one of the names for a body of water)

Oh! the arsole politicians and arsole talking heads on Telly have a new interview phrase, 'We are in a holding pattern" look to it being repeated endlessly by all of the above arsoles for the next ten years.
I think it is shorthand for "we are doing buggah all because we haven't really got a feckin clue what to do"

Look on the bright side Mr D, it might be political yuk-speak for "Someone's got 'em by the nuts".

'We are in a holding pattern'
Ah! The Stapleford Stack. I remember it well from my travelling days. Early morning flights inbound from the Far East, circling aimlessly round waiting, waiting, waiting . . .

It seems like a very appropriate phrase for a political stalemate.

In the civilsed mode of transport it was called Anchored Off.
Yer I know there is another apt phrase the second word of which is Off!

I've found the best way to repair things is to apply any label or tape marked "peelable" on the packet. Ye'll never get the damn thing off.

Shouldn't we just hand over the arsonist scrote to the rest of the dogs?

What a tragedy at the dog's home. My imagination has failed me at the moment. I can't think of anything hideous enough to do to the little bastard. Gave my two extra hugs this morning-they are both from the local shelter.
