All grey and drab here but a very pleasant 18C.
I think I may have a wander to the watering hole for a bit of a natter with other idiots.

Thank you for the travel tip Mr HF. Can't have Mrs 4ma travelling in a style to which she could become accustomed so I have booked from our local station on 'ull Trains. The return journey time is advertised as exactly 1 hour for the 110 miles - that's some average speed

Cracking day for the Toon - Mackems hammered 8-nowt!

Evening all, quick read in so congrats and commiserations to all who require it.

Welcome to the new victi..... um people. Joy Ride, bass player and drummer here. Not had a chance to look at your kit yet but will do later. Having a few probs playing either at the mo as the last bout of radiotherapy has left me a bit weak and uncoordinated.

Hello all.
The insomnia fairies have won the battle so I've given up and arisen to face the day.
The guessers are predicting another warm day again today - it got up to 20C yesterday - with sunny periods but winds reaching force 8 or 9.

As it's Sunday a bit of a fry up is in order for breakfast.

That's funny, BH ... most of the lads hereabouts want to look at Limey's kit. Hope you feel better soon ... if that lack of coordination persists you could end up with a drinking problem and a very wet shirt.

Morning all, rain clearing and still very mild.

handsfree yes that is Creux Harbour, nothing much has changed. Quite interesting in that those carriages are still very much in use and date back over a couple of hundred years and more. No cars allowed on Sark.

A wander down to the shop to purchase the Sunday papers later if they've got in, then on with the Sunday lunch.

Pablo's Porto is busy this morning, 'Costa Fortuna' coming down the lake followed closely by 'Soverign'.

Got up this morning, grumpy and grey. While in the shower a beam of sunshine burst through the clouds and shone through the window - changed my mood instantly.

Off to the De Havilland Aircraft Museum for my duty shift. Come on down to London Colney and let me show you the Horsa and the Queen Bee.

Don't worry, I don't cost extra . . .

Didn't the Dame have one? An invalid carriage or similar?

Beautiful day again here, Terrace doors wide open. Coffee and bikkies outside shortly

See on the Book of Faeces that someone is gettting anonymous hate mail over on the Antips Forum demanding he remove a post otherwise his life will be made hell. I remember that leading to the demise of a site that was an off-shoot from here. Dr. Goballs had nothing on some of the people here these days

Had a very enjoyable evening yesterday. There was a musical review at a cultural centre just outside town. We actually call it the 'Expat community centre' Not our scene at all but they were auctioning weekends at 4 luxury safari camps in aid of our local animal welfare charity. The show was really good including a lady from the National Theatre who sang two Lloyd Webber numbers - absolutely superb. The auction was what is apparently know as an American Auction It was very badly run by my hairdresser. There were lists for each camp and you put your name and bid down as the evening progressed. 22.00 was the cut off but it had to reach a reserve figure. It had been explained to me by her over a haircut, most other punters didn't know. At 21.59 and 55secs I put down the reserve plus one Pula. Behind me were a SA couple wanting to outbid - Too late. Got a 4,000$ two night stay all inclusive at:Welcome to Selinda Camp :: Conserving and expanding natural habitats for less than 20% of the cost price including flights. Should keep Mrs Exascot out of my hair for a while.
