Gulf Country's test to see if you are gay

Just when you thought it was safe to enter a Gulf State the Daily Mail has 'found' this:

Gulf states to introduce medical testing on travellers to 'detect' gay people and stop them from entering the country | Mail Online

They don't say how the test will be done, but I guess there will be a lot of willy waiving to see what the 'patients' reaction would be.

Any other guesses on how they might conduct it?

PS If they tested locals then I don't think there would be many people left in these places:-)

They should just install a closet and see who comes out.

Had a friend whom we suspected was a closet gay as he used to over do the macho thing, then he got sprung when one of his frequent business trips turned out to be an Asian sex tour for little boys. No longer a friend.

Had a co-worker who used to over do the macho thing too, then we found out his girlfriend threw him out of his flat after catching him in bed with another bloke.

Maybe they've read Frank Zappa's "Thing Fish" and have devised a test for the stuff they're dumping in the water supply.

Those taking part in homosexual acts in Kuwait, if they’re under 21, can receive a jail sentence of up to 10 years.
Well that's a bonus for the gay, then.

"then one of his frequent business trips turned
out to be an Asian sex tour for little boys.
No longer a friend."

Likewise, I worked out that someone I knew (work wise) who kept going
to Asia was not going for Holidays but little boys and girls.

No longer dealt with them.

Now the focus is on them a lot are checked.

Ironically, he ended up picking up a bride but she got so pissed off
with him, mucking her around she dumped him !!!

Maybe they blast out Village People songs to unsuspecting male travellers, then deport any which start dancing?

Ask MrsP; she does that too often for my liking.

One of my favourite columnists is Matthew Parris, the former Conservative MP, who has never made any secret of the fact he is gay - even when working as one of Maggie's aides. After the fuss about The Gambia leaving the Commonwealth because of, among other things, criticism about their uncompromising attitude to homosexuality, he did a little research into how many Commonwealth countries still criminalised consenting homosexual acts. He came up with the startling fact that in around two thirds of Commonwealth countries you can go to jail for going to bed with a person of the same sex.

Never mind Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and the other medieval Middle Eastern countries, that's something to ponder on Remembrance Sunday when the Commonwealth High Commissioners are lining up at the Cenotaph - two thirds of them are representing countries that are still imprisoning people for their sexuality.

Why, did she remember everything you said and did? I hate it when they do that.

So .. please tell me how this "medical testing" of gay potential, by Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, Saudi Arabia and the UAE is going to operate, precisely??

After all, it would have to be a very precise test, for fear of making a mistake, wouldn't it?

Let me see - You reach the Immigration/Customs counter, you bend over, drop your strides, and the inspection is carried out thus;

Gay = O

Not gay = o

Ahhh .. that's all we need, then. Any volunteers for the "gay testing" job?? All in the name of keeping these fine Muslim countrys morals pure, you know.

"According to David Attenborough last night, Mrs Elephant is only interested once in two years."

Er, that might have something to do with the gestation periods of elephants

Kind of pointless doing it if she is already pregnant.

I am eternally amazed by the total inconsistency found in the islamic world.
on one hand they have countries that carry out a death sentence on poofters and nearby is Afghanistan where it is almost a mandatory way of life.

utter tribal nonsense.

Anyone walking into my local around 5-6pm would see about eight chaps sitting or standing, in pairs, mostly. One night a chap came in with his new lady friend and was acutely embarrassed when someone reminded him it was 'gay night'.
Fortunately his lady friend had a sense of humour.

They should just install a closet and see who comes out.
Conversely, you could just lock it...

Probably your local UKIP representatives - they probably say their gay for fear of the social embarrassment of 'coming out' as UKIP supporters.

Is it not possible that with all of the money made in various gulf states, they have invested millions and millions in R & D to develop the first viable gaydar?

Not likely, but probably not for lack of trying.

Somewhere, in Switzerland I reckon, an electrical engineer or five are rolling in a nice pile of dough from their pay for the seven years of research an emir provided them funding for ...
