Downsizing already and we've only been here a couple of minutes.
Sign of the times I suppose.

A nostalgic look at the old girl. 'Twas definitely time we moved!

Ahhhh, an upgrade, how nice. With all this space, I may buy some more shoes...

Well that's the horrors of Swiss national day over. I used to like fireworks before I moved here. I can't decide whether I'm more annoyed by the fact that they go on until around 1am or the fact that they start letting them off before it's dark. WTF is that about?

I'm waiting for pics of the pool boys...

Raining. Hard. A lot cooler right now. Excellent.

And just in time for brekker. I just got a dozen mixed free range eggs from my local Co-operative, we'll probably need a few more though. Please don't forget the fried slices Mr Wholi!

I have just discovered some old lottery tickets lurking in a bits-and-bobs bowl. Will let you know.

Talking about an end and moving onwards SWMBO, in a couple of hours, starts her last session of night shifts ever.
After these 3 that's it -- finito with only then a group of 3 afternoon/evenings and then she drops anchor on paid employment.
She is looking forward to retirement but the 2 cats are not quite so keen . In the winter when SWMBO is at work "we" can
have a wood fire but when SWMBO is home she constantly harps on about how hot it is.Her favorite cat has now taken to
gently bite SWMBO now and then and I say it's because we don't have a fire and Bonnie knows who to blame

Watched a interesting prog last night about the history of the Bathroom, apparently the people of the medieval period were very clean they bathed and washed themselves nearly as much as people do today, however when them Welsh chavs the Tudors took over everybody stopped washing themselves, because they were told bathing was dangerous ergo they all honked.

By coincidence Mr Nervous my wife is today working her last day before her well earned retirement today after nearly 40 years of dealing face to face with the general public at HSBC.

I fear we are gonna need some readjustment here, I have converted a bedroom to an office as I work from home and after much discussion we have reached an understanding and two locks have been fitted to the door, one on each side! Judicious use of these will we hope prevent our up and till now very happy 41 year marriage from coming under considerable strain.........

Need a few more eggs though.
You should have said earlier Wholi, as I'm just back from the supermarket with bacon and assorted greens that were left off yesterdays list.

Just having a look around. Me leather arm chair is in place and the "buttons" are suitably placed for the pushing thereof. Seems there is a new black button with label marked "Auto flush -Lifeboat No. 5 "
