"If only one side" - so would you be happy with a draw?
Of course I'd be happy with a draw, but until Muslims stop hating Jews more than they love their children, that will never happen.

And if so, where would you put the border, and who would have the water supply?
As to the matter of the borders of Israel, seeing the leaders of every Muslim country, since the creation of Israel, have sworn to eliminate the nation of Israel, that is a mute point to Muslims, they want no borders of Israel, period. So that we must leave up to Israel to decide for their protection from those that wish to destroy Israel and all that live there, where their borders must be.

Same for the water supply, for Israel to survive they must control access to water, other than sea water.

Israel is here to stay, get used to that fact, no matter how much you wish to see it destroyed.

Israel is the Road Runner. The Palestinians, Iran, Assad and his current enemies, the Brotherhood - all are, collectively, Wile E. Coyote. You'd think they'd question always buying from Acme, but they don't, locked into their failed belief system.

So how many achievements in medicine, technology, defense, etc. have been generated in any Islam-controlled 'entity' since 700 AD? How many Israeli (and Jewish diaspora) breakthroughs have we collectively benefitted from?

There's your answer, as a disinterested observer, as to which side to be on.

Hitler's greatest mistake was to take the most productive, creative, educated and able component of Germany out of his equation - and murder them.

Had the Arabs allied with Israel rather than commit to eliminating it, who knows what they might have achieved, given the oil windfall they've enjoyed for forty years.

I can't wait for oil to fall back to rational commodity pricing once fracking's impact is realized to watch the fortunes of the world's most hateful people recede. I predict blowing sagebrush, the hallmark of a ghost town, will come to Jeddah while I still breathe.

Whilst living in the ME I do recollect someone saying: "We could go from camels to Cadillacs and back to camels in one lifetime."

Threads like this make me very, very, glad that I'll never have to meet you guys. Some people in here are living, breathing, personifications of the Daily Mail - only much worse.

You are right Nemrytter, - blind addiction to the Palestinian cause without considering the murderous Palestinians blowing up buses, coffee shops and firing between two and three thousand rockets into civilian areas of Israel is difficult for reasonable people to countenance. Just to add insult to injury these same Palestinians have siphoned away billions of dollars in aid thus keeping their own people living in abject poverty and misery whilst rejecting every peace offer, including offers that gave them over 90% of what they requested, so that they can perpetrate their creed of hatred and ensure their children are raised to worship the gun and hate the Jew.

Truly a dreadful situation.

So there we have it, ladies and gentlemen. Proud, overt racism.

Wipe out those Palestinians and give their land to someone else.

Offer me a chance to propose a fair split of land? Nah, let them lose it mile by mile, village by village.

Hang on, this sounds like a more subtle version of the Final Solution - we'd better mention that first, and blame our policy on Hitler.

And at every opportunity, we'll say that anyone who questions our policy must be anti-Semites. Then they might not notice our own anti-Palestinian racism.

Mideast Christians: endangered in their ancestral land

As new Islamist regimes in the Middle East condone religious intolerance and introduce Sharia and blasphemy laws, the long-term trend for Christians in their ancestral lands will only grow bleaker

......The one bright spot is the state of Israel "the only place in the Middle East [where] Christians are really safe," according to the Vicar of St George's Church in Baghdad, Canon Andrew White. Home to Christianity's holiest sites and to a colorful array of Christian denominations, Israel has the only growing Christian community in the Middle East.

Because Israel is the only non-Muslim state in all of the Middle East and North Africa, it represents a small victory for religious minorities in the region, and serves as the last protector of freedom and security for Jews, Christians, Bahai, Druze, and others. ..........

Slightly off topic.....Having spent the last few days in Teutonia, one was yet again reminded what an efficient and intellectually clever people the Germans are, so whilst many of the murdered/displaced Jewish Germans of WW2 vintage were creative, productive, edumacated, able etc, the loss to Gemany as a country was minimal, simply because there were/are millions of switched on citizens there already. Whilst there is no doubt much innovation coming out of Israel, it should be no suprise in a society where intellectual education is a corner stone of life. The typical jewish personality is not shy in coming forward to tell you how fantastic they are , so we know all about any achievements. Wait a few years until the Chinese really get going, now the middle/upper classes there are supremely motivated to succeed and be wealthy Oi Vey! I have the suspicion that they will will swamp all the niche markets with their creativity/work ethic and numbers in the not too distant future.

What on earth has this to do with a professional pilot's forum?
Are you kidding? Just take a look at the latest Asiana thread. There seem to be very few of us left while the private pilots and enthusiasts have overrun this site with well intentioned gibberish.

Might as well discuss this stuff. I personally enjoy the pompous grandstanding of those claiming to be enlightened and caring yet deep down are tribal little racists when it comes to Israel and other subjects like perceived racism in the USA.

Wipe out those Palestinians and give their land to someone else.
You keep getting it backward. It is the Palestinians and their Muslim handlers/masters that want to wipe out Israel and take the land for their own racist use.

If Israel wanted to "Wipe out those Palestinians" they could have many times over. If the Palestinians had the means Israel has to do such, there would be no Israel today, or Jews in that part of the world.

So there we have it, ladies and gentlemen. Proud, overt racism.
That's pretty rich coming from one that supports the people that hate Jews so much that they wish to destroy all Jews in the Middle East.

So for the charge of racism, have you looked in the mirror lately?

I know I am nave. The majority of countries say that building settlements on the occupied territories is illegal under agreed (by almost everybody but Israel, but including the USA) international law. So how can without being total hypocrits, can anyone support the building of settlements? Or does the USA not support international laws to which they have signed up?

Either the USA must support the idea that Israel is in contravention of international law or they must say that the treaties they signed up to are null and void as applied to Israel - which they didn't say when they signed up.

My suspicion is that US politicians need to 'run with the hare and hunt with hounds' in order to get re-elected..........and treaties and international obligations go by the board as a result.

Not that the US is alone in that......

Yup, you're naive. The UN has fecked up royally in supporting the obvious terrorist states, and is in some kind of denial when it comes to what democracy and freedom actually means. Try a few weeks in a Palestinian, North Korean, Iranian shithole as a European or outsider and see what it's like before you pontificate on International law and your perceptions of freedom ?
