Several devices it would seem located by finishing line and adjacent hotels.

Goodness knows what the reasons behind this one will turn out to be.

From your picture there Flightpath, those red stains on the concrete do not appear to be spilled wine.

Boston Police reporting 2 dead, 23injured. American Red Cross have set up a Disaster Response Center. No contact details yet for those who might need it - suggest American Red Cross or Boston Marathon tw!tter feeds will be where they are announced first. All websites overloaded at present.

Two further UXIEDs discovered & being worked on.

RIP

FAA made temp no fly in area. Rumours about standby for expanded lock IF things develop but federal so far just heightened alert as standard proc.

Some of the rushes not pretty but so far relatively cool heads are in play.

Boston police sources saying 'homemade bombs' but early days.

At least two secondary devices found, AP say citing Boston media.

I heard two more devices found.

Not good anyway you look at it.

Hope those injured pull through OK.

Listening to the scanner audio, at least one of the medevac helos had to delay its response for ten minutes due to another TFR in place for the Boston Red Sox game.

I was waiting for someone to make the first move.

I second what he said.

The real time news and photos are readily available elsewhere.

If you feel the need to chat within the confines of prune', perhaps Jet Blast would be better suited ?
