From The Mail
When they broke up, Miss Scherzinger was based in Los Angeles because of her role as a judge on the American version of The X Factor, while Hamilton had made a home in Switzerland for tax reasons.
Last week, however, it was confirmed the singer had been sacked from the US show.
The word's "lost meal-ticket" spring to mind.

So the step on the nose looks like an air intake.. possibly flowing air under the chassis for more downforce?? maybe air intake facilitating smaller radiator intakes?? Nobody else thought of that one..

The RB8 Revealed

Has anyone noticed the relationship between the height of the nose and the drivers neck/head on the current 2012 iterations ...??

A " T-bone " impact around the cockpit area will not be a fun experience..

Jeez, they are fcuking UGLY !!!!

Plastic McLaren

Gotta love their sense of humour in Woking..

While everyone else was worrying about how long it would take the other teams to copy bits of the new Red Bull, as well as wondering how long it would take the FIA to declare some part of the 2012 McLaren illegal (well, they couldn't just ban bits of the Ferrari and Renault, sorry Lotus, could they? )

I reckon someone played a bit of a blinder .. Boss: Launched McLaren was 'plastic' | Planet F1 | Formula One News

I shall have to whip the spies on their return.
Reading in elsewhere it's nice to see the Ferrari drivers finally have a good handling car.

The noses of the 2012 cars are lower than those of the 2011 cars...

Plastic blunder ?

McLaren were struggling with their exhausts overheating rear bodywork ......
A tad ironic, given their earlier statement regarding the mock exhaust on their launch car!

McLaren, though, are keeping their secrets well hidden - at least for now.
"Our exhaust was made of plastic, you will never see these components in this form again," Whitmarsh admitted to Auto Moto und Sport.

Pirelli's Paul Hembery fears ugly F1 cars a turn-off for spectators - F1 news - AUTOSPORT.com

Pity they can't have regulations that would produce something like the Lotus 79,
( with 21st century construction and the driver moved back........ )
