A tough old sheep farmer from Scotland gave some good advice to his granddaughter.
He told her that the secret to a long life was to sprinkle a pinch of gunpowder onto her porridge every morning.

The granddaughter followed this dictum religiously until her death at the venerable age of 103.
She left behind 14 children, 30 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren, 25 great-great grandchildren and a forty foot crater where the crematorium used to be.

It's only murder if they find the body...
Reminds one of the difference between a friend and a true friend.

A friend will help you move.....................

................. a true friend will help you move the body!

I thought the comment about a good friendship is that a good friend will get you out of jail at 4:00 am, a really close friend will be sitting next to you on the jail.

FYI, Hella the aircraft lighting specialist company from Germany produced a braile overhead reading light assembly.

Just saying!

Is that a second-hand bog seat? It looks like it's got a crack in the seat on the RH side. Having experienced such a seat failure, it's really painful.

I wonder if it would work as a laptop platform too?

I applaud multi-functional applications of any item. The 'out of the box' thinking is excellent. I'd add an anti-slip pad to it and a padded neck rest. Do it properly, unless it was back in normal use shortly afterwards.
