Inspired by Food Channel - The ultimate burger

Mine is made with lamb. I do one hell of a lamb burger. One tomato slice (big one) mayo, kosher dill pickle slices (three) Can be taken on-board, if one doesen't care about angry eyes from other pax. (Yes. I have a whole channel that only does FOOD)

Recipe:

Buy minced lamb (Waitrose recommended, but as I am 10,000 miles away so Safeway will do)
Make into patties - weight to your capacity
Fry, not too much
Buy nice buns and then toast
Slice fav veggies
Slather with a bit of Mayo
S and P
Assemble

Salad on the side might be nice. But not necessary.

That does look good, but if you think finding good lamb in Canada is hard, try finding it in Oklahoma.

Try a civapcici mix instead of just plain lamb. Ground lamb, beef and pork with just salt and pepper. Works like a charm. Huge patty done on the braai, toasted bun, mayo, lettuce, tomato and onion, patty on top then slather with creamed mushrooms and a couple of strips of bacon and finish with other half of bun.

You need beetroot.....It is in fact a question on the Australian citizenship test.

'What root vegetable is required by law to be on a burger with the lot?'

Beetroot

RT, it is a matter of taste.

Good homemade patties laced with crushed/grated garlic and topped with homemade tsatziki can't be beat. Lettuce, tomato, onion etc...
