Scare tactics

Here we go. Now we are threatened with riots if Romney wins. Better think twice before you vote, or our house may burn down.

» Will The Election Results Cause Massive Riots To Erupt All Over America? Alex Jones' Infowars: There's a war on for your mind!

“If Romney wins I’m Starting a Riot….Who’s WIT ME???”
“I Hope The USA Is Well Aware That If In The Event This Character Romney Wins The Election, The People Will Start A Country Wide Riot! #Power”
“If Romney is elected president, its gon be a riot its gon be a riot.”
“If ROMNEY GETS IN THE WHITE HOUSE …U MIGHT AS WELL KILL ME NOW …..CAUSE ITS GONNA BE A ************ RIOT !!!”
“If Romney became President and took away welfare Downtown Cincinnati would become a riot”
“If Romney takes away food stamps 2 Chainzz in this bit IMMA START A RIOT”
“If Romney wins. (which i highly doubt) THERE WILL BE A RIOT—”
The following are a few more tweets that I found which threaten a potential riot if Obama loses the election….
From @joecools_world….
“Need 2 come up wit a game plan if Romney win…. Riot all thru Newark”
From @killacate….
“I swear on everything I love if Romney wins ima riot. I don’t even care if its just me.”

Romney supporters are not really threatening to riot, but many of them are proclaiming that they may leave the country if Obama wins. .

Once again, the current Administration is, ironically, proving to be the best friend the small arms and ammunition industry has ever had.

Looks like its time to up my ammo stash by a few thousand more rounds.

And it will delivered to my door. (I love this country! )

Watch your back

Brick, be careful what you say. Recently there was a shooting somewhere and the perp was found to have 6,000 rounds I the trunk of his car. The PPRuNe collective outrage choir was aghast that someone would be "allowed" to buy such an"arsenal".

And the two approaches to the election results are instructive of the demeanor of either candidate's base.

There is no doubt in my mind that there will be civil unrest, and great damage if Obama loses.

It comes from using Liberal guilt as a weapon to get what 'black folk' want, by any means. The chickens are poised to come home to roost, is that right Reverend Wright? Mr. Sharpton? Jacksonnnnn?

I grew up in a mixed neighborhood, and I feel black rage. It is in all of us, and available to all the political pimps to manipulate.

In the white man, its trigger is 'oppression', or 'wealth redistribution'. (envy).

This passion is the currency of all politics, ALL POLITICS.

It takes an educated and moral electorate to resist the evil that is used to accomplish political goals...

we'll just have to see.....

And my response would be a heartily disinterested "xxxx 'em."

But, I wouldn't have 6,000 rounds in my car.

I'd have it delivered.

Oh, and I'd also not break the law by murdering anyone.

In West Oakland, there are armaments to delight an NRA life member. AK, grenade launchers, prolly a mortar or twelve.

But these are owned and operated by the "correct" army, the Army of righteous revolution...the New Panthers...

Oh Liberal, where is thy sting?

edit. I wager there are several "walked automatics" in South Sac, part of the drug enemy, with serial numbers recorded by Eric Holder.....

ATF works the Law in narrow ways; they could be front page daily if they paid any attention to the aforementioned hoods.....

"No, really, we do so have the stones, we just don't have the manpower..."

I object to "News" outlets denying their Bias...and have no problem with a non-News outlet spouting their stuff.

I am smart enough and engaged enough to know the difference between News and Fluff.

The real danger as we can notice today....Libya Gate reporting....not a mention of it by the NYT until deep inside the paper....while running six very important stories (in their view)....only to be called out by their very own Social Editor!

As to the Rioting and such when (not if) Obama loses.....at least it will be easy to spot our targets.

Look at the bright side....the Wefare Rolls will be decreased dramatically, AFDC payments will drop, Drug Use will decrease, probably the numbers of Illegal Aliens will drop slightly, Crime rates will drop after a brief spike, neighbors will get to know one another.....and next years Deer and Elk Hunting success will rise with the increased proficiency of the Hunters and a lot of old Ammo will be put to very good use.

In these parts...we have a history of direct action be it the Cops and National Guard or private citizens. Once upon a time....the Communists challenged the KKK to come out and play and they did. Bad move on the Commie's part I would say. If they had left well enough alone and left it to words....it might have stayed at that level....but nope....they had to escalate the situation.

Hostility between the groups flared in July 1979 when protesters disrupted a screening of the 1915 epic, The Birth of a Nation directed by D. W. Griffith, a cinematographic portrayal of the formation of a Ku Klux Klan. Taunts and inflammatory rhetoric were exchanged during the ensuing months. On November 3, 1979 a rally and march of industrial workers and Communists was planned in Greensboro against the Ku Klux Klan. The Death to the Klan March was to begin in a predominantly black housing project called Morningside Homes. Communist organizers publicly challenged the Klan to present themselves and "face the wrath of the people".[7] During the rally, a caravan of cars containing Klansmen and members of the American Nazi Party drove by the housing projects where the Communists and other anti-Klan activists were congregating. Several marchers began to attack the Klansmens' cars with small wooden sticks or by throwing rocks. According to white supremacist Frazier Glenn Miller, the first shots were fired from a handgun by an anti-Klan demonstrator.[8] However several witnesses reported Klansman Mark Sherer fired the first shot (into the air).[9] Klansmen and Nazis fired with shotguns, rifles and pistols. Cauce, Waller and Sampson were killed at the scene. Smith was shot in the forehead when she peeked from her hiding place. Eleven others were wounded. One of them, Dr. Michael Nathan, later died from his wounds at a hospital.[8] Most of the armed confrontation was filmed by four local news camera crews.

The Joke going around afterwards was....."Where were the Police...what took them so long to respond?

The answer..... "They were all down behind the warehouse changing out of their Robes."

Hopefully, the problems will be few and slight....but there will be some for sure. Knowing the folks that will do this....the dumb asses will burn down their own neighborhoods like the previous several times they resorted to mob violence and mayhem.

The beauty of the First Amendment, nay all, is that they are broad. I cannot imagine a newspaper held by Law to "News".

So the NY Times gets away with opinion masquerading as reportage.

And the NY Times is on its last legs...

The people come around, slowly.

I predicted Clinton's resignation (post election) long ago, it was easy.

I am amazed at how long she has stuck it out.

At its roots, it is North South. Arkansas v. Chicago, even though Hill was born in a Chisuburb (Park Ridge).

Mob/northern industrial v. Plantation agrarian..

Not kidding, not one bit.

The pragmatesse, Hillary, versus the Ideologuer, Barry. Should be fun to watch.

A further distillation? Mob versus CocaPoppy...

Military/Industrial versus AgCartel.

MilitInd has slow ponderous moral encrusted army. The Ag, agile ruthless warriors.

Do not count out the plantcomplex this time.

Obama can dump Hillary into the Poo....hell he already has!

When Biden says what he did at the Debate, and the Anointed One carried on with the Video Fantasy....the question that is begged is...."Doesn't the State Department (via the SecState) brief the President and NSC of what it knows of a Situation?". As the Non-Fox Media is ignoring the Libya Gate story....at some point the Clintons will have to go public to cover her big (and getting bigger) Political Ass.

Add in the plainly deficient amount of security at Benghazi despite the 213 Incidents including two bombings, the pleas for enhanced security, and the removal of what "extra" assets that were available.....and it becomes just a matter of "The Fat Lady Singing" which in this case will be Hillary testifying under Oath before Congress.

Mr. Gowdy will prove to be a very inquisitive Man when that happens.

Hillary can only say one of two things.....we passed that information up....or we did not pass that information up....when talking of the Video Fantasy defense. As to the other issues.....she is either incompetent or ignorant re those decisions.....but either way she is responsible as SecState.

This is going to get good.....drag up a comfy chair, a cold drink, and a bag of Popcorn!

In some ways, having Obama go after Hillary and the CIA
at this point might not be a bad thing as it is likely to cost
him even more votes.

Thanks for that (re politico).

You see enough comments from people re the other major various newspaper / media outlets but not much on the smaller one's.

As you say, if you know which side of the fence they are on before reading,
it makes it so much easier.

COF did point out the hiring by Politico of a recently fired Yahoo! news reporter for his outrageous anti-Romny comments, so the first evidence was hers regarding your question.

That said, The Daily Caller is the right side of the Politico's equation. I read both, among others, for often interesting takes on the same situation.

If it's covered. For example, Politico hasn't done much with Libya-gate but did do several fluff pieces leading up the recent VP debates, including, and I kid you not, a piece about how sexy Biden is.

Daily Caller also has a Guns and Gear section. With cigar news as well.

Fast and Furious was a local thing?
SASless, I stand by the words I used:

Local - Characteristic of a particular place, not general or widespread, having a definite location. F&F took place along the Arizona/Mexican border, not the Canadian/USA border, not the Texas/Mexican border, not the New Mexico/Mexican border and not the California/Mexican border, but specifically the border at the I-19 terminus, Nogales.

Mistake - To make a wrong judgement or take a wrong action. A wrong action taken, proceeding from faulty judgement, inadequate knowledge or inattention.
We don't mind differing view points here.....but we do prefer those offering up those kinds of comments to at least rrovide factual information and not just Democrat Party Talking Points and Liberal tripe based purely upon emotion and hyperbole.
and,
That has NEVER been done ever. During the Bush Administration....Controlled deliveries were done but Guns were never intentionally "walked".
Really?
The 2007 gun "probe" into an operation called Operation Wide Receiver (under GWB) began when an ATF agent identified several suspects from Mexico who bought weapons from a gun shop in Phoenix over a span of several months. According to the emails obtained by AP, the operation ran into trouble after agents saw the same suspects buy additional weapons from the same store and followed the suspects south toward the border at Nogales, Ariz., on Sept. 27, 2007. ATF officials notified the government of Mexico to be on the lookout. ATF agents saw the vehicle the suspects were driving reach the Mexican side of the border, but 20 minutes later, Mexican law enforcement authorities informed ATF that they "did not see" the vehicle. Emails from the 2007 probe show there was concern that ATF in Arizona had engaged in a tactic that resulted in the guns disappearing inside Mexico. One difference between the 2007 incident and Operation Fast and Furious was that in the 2007 operation, Mexican authorities were notified. However, in Operation Fast and Furious the Mexican authorities were deliberately kept in the dark.

Could it be that the ATF folks thought the Mexican authorities were in cahoots with the gun runners and elected not to inform them when F&F began?

Michael Horowitz, in his long awaited report to Congress, destroys the conspiracy theories on both sides of the aisle over 471-pages, but it’s the right wing screamers who come out looking worst. Horowitz shows definitively that the Arizona ATF agents and prosecutors in the U.S. Attorney’s office there were responsible for the operation, not the White House or the Justice Department in Washington and that the primary source of the inaccurate testimony given to Congress was the U.S. Attorney for Arizona, Dennis Burke.
Either you are intentionally appearing dense....or you really are.
Mischaracterization gets you no points...
I notice in your post you did not refute anything that SaSless or I said
in our posts above.
So do you agree that what we both wrote is correct and factual ?
500N, to answer your question, no I don't agree, its not correct or factual.

Turbine D,

What do you like that Obama has done in his four years in office that makes you want him in for another four?

I understand you don't want Romney - would like to know the reasons why - but why do want to give Obama another term?

Are you satisfied with what he did during the first? With, I might add, an overwhelming majority in both Houses of Congress during his first two terms.

What did he do/accomplish that you support? Why do you think he would perform more of that or better given another term?
