Romney flies the flag

...of the Cayman Islands. On the 150ft yacht 'Cracker Bay'.

One of the reasons this Republican convention has been so deathly dull is that the real action isn't at the convention. It's at Cracker Bay. That's the name of the yacht where the Romney team just hosted 50 partiers, including some of his top donors. This was one of about a dozen events outside of the convention where they had private meetings with donors giving more than $1 million dollars to his campaign.

WOW. Scooped the inside story on Romney.

Line this man up for a Pulitzer.

And Cracker Bay?

Isn't that the beach where Whitey's hang out?

Aghhh.. And no one is giving any money to Obama in high priced soirees.. He's just a poor old community organizer trying to make a crust...

Time to get a life... The money will always figure heavily... Hopefully though, the message the money pays for will get through the thick heads of those that think that their free ride is paid for magically from the presidents "stash"....

The rich are evil, unless of course they are the Hollywood elite and go to dinners that raises millions dollars for their Saint and/or God, Obama. Praise be upon him.

My school buddy has a beautiful yacht named "Cracker Barrel". He is quite wealthy and a long time Democrat.

He is voting for Romney...

And meanwhile, more and more Americans are reduced to eating crackers during Obama's 4 years. But hey, Clooney, Samuel L. Jackson, and Oprah say Vote for him!

Yes clooney with his fudge packing moment and fund raiser.
Since when was being gay considered not to be a mental illness, did not get that memo.
If gay is ok then our population will drop dramatically, and what it says in the bible about this is false also, making the whole book a pack of lies.
Ever think about a adopted kid by 2 gay parents and how messed up his/her life would be?
Oprah wonder how many divorces she has caused to good marriages with her TV degree in relationship and advice,
Barney franks as a role model?
Upside down now and Obama and his supporters drags us into the fire with him, for a free ride, that ride wont be free, trust me and everyone else that knows right from wrong.

Earl, you might want to think first before engaging keyboard on the matters of your homophobia.

I dont know where you got those vile misconceptions from.

They show ignorance, predjuice and naivety.

Speaking of which, if it is true that Ambassador Stevens was gay, just how naive were Hillary, the State Department, and Obama to send him to Libya with the overabundance of violent Muslim extremists who see homosexuality as an abomination that must be punished by law and if not, by their own hand? If this was known among the radical elements he was at one time helping, are those here actually ignoring that emplacing him or him jogging around the countryside wouldn't be seen as an affront by those same people?

The White House must be doing something right as the towns and cities on fire are all in foreign countries.
Unlike the French who suffered all those riots in Paris and Marseiles.

After reading "Cracker Barrel" i got hungry as they do have some of the best breakfasts in the South.Grits n Gravy n bits of hog warshed down with hot coffee.

PD,

"Speaking of which, if it is true that Ambassador Stevens was gay, just how naive were Hillary, the State Department, and Obama to send him to Libya"

That is impossible. Did Hillary expect these dogs to honor 'don't ask, don't tell?'

An openly gay man posted to the neighborhood of the brotherhood?

Not naive, then, but she is complicit in his murder. She should be arrested for such arrogant irresponsibility. His wont was to refuse security, what are our people thinking?

Madness begets madness.

Homophobia?
Sorry if i offended anyone here of my christian upbringing and heterosexual lifestyle.
Which until recently was considered the proper way to live.
Work hard, raise a family, don't live off the government welfare.
Welfare was a temporary fix until ones got on there feet again, not a lifetime meal ticket.
Marriage defined between man and woman,
If this gay thing is so correct why is there so many state courts blocking it now.

When their Progressives' dreamworld meets real world reality, people get pissed-off and others die. They sling around words like "hater" so loosely and mis-label anyone who disagrees with them as such they've lost touch with what it really describes, and what a person truly infused with it will do. They can try to root-dig misunderstandings all they want and even convince themselves they've found the answer, but that only works up until the point the reality of how wrong they are rears its head. They just don't get that Islam is a tailor-made drug for young, militant males seeking-to dominate and a template for how it can be achieved.

I can't wait to see the reaction here to Michael Lewis' piece about Obama in Vanity Fair (here). Sample:
On the leather sofa beside me were the five newspapers that are laid out for him every time he travels. “In every one of those someone is saying something nasty about you,” I said to him. “You turn on the television and you could find people being even nastier. If I’m president, I’m thinking, I’ll just walk around pissed off all the time, looking for someone to punch.”

He shook his head. He doesn’t watch cable news, which he thinks is genuinely toxic. One of his aides told me that once, thinking the president otherwise occupied, he’d made the mistake of switching the Air Force One television from ESPN, which Obama prefers, to a cable news show. The president walked into the room and watched a talking head explain knowingly to his audience why he, Obama, had taken some action. “Oh, so that’s why I did it,” said Obama, and walked out.

Getting in the way, way back machine, I seem to recall that guy, name escapes at present, receiving one or two negative press stories.

I also recall PPRuNe being somewhat vociferous in its bleating against anything he did including simply processing oxygen.

VW? GW? Something like that.

Anway, I don't think he'd get this kind of courtesy nor will Romney:

Michael Lewis Gave White House Quote Approval for His Big Vanity Fair Profile - Yahoo! News

Michael
Lewis may be a big-shot writer with several bestsellers under his belt,
but when he profiled Barack Obama for Vanity Fair, he was not treated all that different from other reporters covering the White House: he had to get quotes approved.
emphasis added.

And then we wonder why the Islamofacists demand that the government ban a privately produced movie.

To them it's all part an parcel of the same, and we are falling into the trap.

On a more practical level, it is now illegal to sell or purchase a soft drink that contains more than 16 ounces in the great city of New York.

Similarly, it is now required that restaurants post caloric content of the food on their menu. Always on the thin side, I now choose my food by caloric content, the more the better.

This type of thing used to garner all manner of disapproval. Presently, nary a whimper.

Public Education. The death and dearth of critical thinking.

Caring for one's neighbor has morphed into legislative imprisonment of the spirit of Freedom.

Birddog....we may not all agree with Earl....but going to the extent of addressing his comments as being "homophobia" is a step too far in my view.

We can disagree without being disagreeable I hope....and I am sure Earl as all of us have opinions and views that do not sit well with others....that is life pure and simple.

I would be quite out of place around Gay Pride sorts of folks....find them very objectionable but I simply ignore them as best I can.

Likewise....those on the opposite side of that Teeter Totter of Opinion....I try my best to avoid their commentary as I find it bothersome as well.

Earl is welcome to his views just as I am to mine.....or you to yours.

Eloquence may come hard to some.....so perhaps a bit of tolerance can be in order.

Earl certainly did not single anyone out in his comment....thus it certainly was not a personal attack and it did not seem to be intended to be so.

He apologized for any offense he may have given....and explained the reasoning behind his post.....good enough for me.

Hiya again, Barry. I really appreciate you having those chats with your Press Secretary and Deputy Campaign Manager.

I thought about your senior political guy taking $100K in speaking fees for speeches in Nigeria funded by Iranian business, but let's leave that for later.

No, I thought I bring up the report by the Office of Special Counsel that says your Health and Human Services Secretary broke the Hatch Act law:

HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius violated Hatch Act, OSC concludes - Jennifer Haberkorn - POLITICO.com

HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius violated the Hatch Act, which prohibits certain political activity, when she made “extemporaneous partisan remarks” during a speech in her official capacity earlier this year, the U.S. Office of Special Counsel said Wednesday.
While I can appreciate the neat "recategorize it" after the fact, I don't believe federal law works that way. If you break it, you typically get sanctioned. For a federal employee, the traditional punishment has been firing.

Just thought I'd point that out because you know how badly the blow back from your Attorney General, the highest law enforcement officer in the land, being found in contempt of Congress wound up being for you.

We can also get to that "executive discretion" regarding desirable illegal aliens being utilized, especially since it affects all those potential "voters," even though the estimated 800,000 newly immune illegals shouldn't be able to vote anyway.

Which your Justice Department is fighting the requirement for voter ID in nearly every state it can. Although, the danged Supreme Court does seem to be siding with each state as it appeals.

I'm sure you can ignore the complaints of the Border Patrol union:

Border Patrol union: AG must resign

I'm sure they're just browned off over that Operation Fast & Furious that killed one of their own, an ICE agent in Mexico, and several hundred Mexicans.
