Sultan is not worth the trouble of being put on my ignore list. After all, he is only a low level Democratic Party hit and run troll.

SAS

After your homophobic self grandizing rant in Military Aircrew where you so pathetically thought anyone cares about your letter to Gen Dempsey you are on my must read list for entertainment.

By the way I was an UNCLE agent when I was 8, does that trump a JAG era NCIS agent?

Yup, he's a progressive, so-called liberal Democratic clone alright. That last post just proved it.

You can always tell from the nice, polite and considerate posts they write.

Seems to be an international modus operandii for the parties of such persuasion.

If you peruse the several attempts to discuss Australian politics in JB, you will also see their work.

The tactics sadly succeeded in closing the threads until an Australian mod stepped in and provided a local balance. (But it hasn't stopped them trying.)

Well, I feel for him. If he truly resides in one of the top 25 conservative cities, my guess is he placards his Obama bumper stickers in his closet.

So perhaps JB is his happy place. We should give him that.

Could be, but the problem is, he is never happy. He always seems to be mad every time he posts.

I would think he would be happy, after all, his hero Obama is President. Not for much longer, so he needs to grab all the happiness he can for the next couple of months.

Can hardly wait to hear tonight's speech! I haven't been this excited since my wedding night.
Unlike my wedding night, I was not dissapointed!

I guess your excitement at the time was a bit short-lived, eh CoF? Considering the outcome of course.

I hope you all savor the excitement: enjoy it while it lasts. Because come November He will be voted back into the White House, I'll bet on it. Not what I want, not what many of us want but it is what it is. Get used to it.

I watched an interview with Alan Simpson by Ali Velshi on CNN yesterday. I thought he spoke a lot of sense regarding " getting things done " and his comments on Congress. There doesn't seem to be any link online to that interview, but here is another with similar themes ;

Alan Simpson Slams Fellow Republicans For Lack Of Compromise

and another;

Former Senator Alan Simpson on America's failing politicians Global Public Square - CNN.com Blogs

Curious what others thoughts and opinions are on said gentleman. Seems delightfully " un PC " !

Well, as expected, this morning I see the blatherers are on and on about how senile Clint Eastwood appeared. And how damaging he was to Romney.

I found his rambling a refreshing change of pace. You can't spend all week complaining that the convention was "scripted and boring", and then object to one off-the-cuff speaker!

But then, we all knew it would be this way.

How about this? You said you'd bet. For every percentage point Obama beats Romney by in the popular vote I will pay $10 to the military charity of your choice. For every percentage point Romney beats Obama by in the popular vote you will pay $10 to the military charity of your choice.

It's a no lose proposition for someone...
