Running Scared

Questionable Campaign Tactics.

“This could cost us the election,” Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) political director Kelly Ward wrote today. “The Romney campaign is up with a new ad campaign trying to confuse voters into thinking that Republicans are the ones trying to protect Medicare. You and I know that Romney and Paul Ryan are dead set on slashing seniors’ Medicare benefits to pay for more millionaire tax breaks — but we have to get the facts out to voters immediately.”
Then they include the Video in the e-mail. Following the YouTube Video are 12 other anti-Obama Videos

AA,

One wonders if his similarity of tempo to Bush 43 might not turn some off to him
Hmm. Never even made that connection. You were probably paying more attention than I was. I didn't really start getting deeply involved into politics until the 2008 Elections, although I always voted for what I thought was the right Candidate and appropriate Measures since I was old enough to vote.

Even NBC Nightly News is having a very hard time putting a pro-Obama spin on today's events. Oh, don't worry, they did, but they really had to work hard at it.

It's like they are or were totally unprepared for the Republican to turn the tables on the Obama doom and gloom 'all the old people are going to die' type of campaign tactics that the Democrats do so well.

11Fan:

I just found much of his delivery similarly tempo'd. (is that a word), to Bush... Maybe it was the phrasing... Maybe I'm being too picky... I just don't want him to leave himself open to a "Bush clone" attack...

I think the two are quite different... Refreshingly so...

Word is out. Joe Biden is so worried about the upcoming VP Debate that he has already called in sick.

Also, just heard on The Factor that Dennis Miller will be writing the Keynote Speech for Chris Christie.

A year or so ago, a Progressive (Left) Group came out with this video against Congressman (Present GOP VP Candidate) Paul Ryan.

Just heard that there is a new video in production.

President Obama will be pushing the wheelchair and Joe Biden will be riding in it (well, for a minute anyway).

Too bad so many interesting contributors have been banned in this season.
To bad that President Obama doesn't run the website. They would have been granted Amnesty by now.

I believe Mr. Reese has gone AWOL.
Nope. The hospital just took longer than expected.

After I eat I'll respond.

This election is a de Facto plebiscite on the intelligence of the American voter.

His energy policy is a travesty, his foreign policy is without a coherent plan, his economic policy is reliant on flushing trillions of dollars down the toilet in the form of worthless bonds, and what does he do? He bribes three million Mexicans by granting an illegal waiver of the Law......

Obama is a disaster; there is no more unemployment money, the numbers accuse him, not Bush, and his soulmate, a tired old hack from Scranton, talks gibberish.

Why would anyone vote for this tool?

Lyman...because of the above. It's obvious his voters aren't interested in the facts, just what the media reports.

A sad reminder to the percentage of the population who are too lazy to care about making a change or to understand why this awesome country needs it. It's easier to latch on to the tit of entitlement.

Ultimatum issued by Israel.

Israel has delivered an ultimatum to Obama saying that he must make clear to Iran that America will take military action to stop their nuclear program if they don’t do it themselves, or Israel may be forced to attack Iran. And Israel doesn’t want a half-hearted statement noting that the military option is on the table. They want a clear and unmistakable threat to Iran that it must acknowledge. This is an existential matter for them and they say time is rapidly running out.
Israel tells Obama he must make clear to Iran by Sept 25 that US will attack if they don’t cease nuclear program » The Right Scoop -

With all due respect....and I love our Israeli allies.... but why we must be the one to issue the ultimatum and follow through? I get that Israel wants to demonstrate the allegiance, but I don't understand why they push us to be the instigator.

Please explain.....

We are the World's Superpower....we have the duty to stand up to Regimes that are intent upon attacking their neighbors especially the Israeli's who are good Allies and for the longest time the only Democracy in the Middle East.

If the Iranians become a Nuclear Armed power....the danger they will present and the damage they will do to what stability exists in the Middle East will be catastrophic.

If....big If....we were Energy Independent or had secured an Energy security agreement with South, Central, and North American sources of oil and gas....we could probably leave the Iranian problem to the Europeans, Russians, and Chinese.

Politically we are obliged to defend Israel as we could not be a party to antoher Holocaust. Morally....I think we are also so encumbered.

Thus....we are the Big Brother in this deal....and that is why we have to lead. The Israelis have the Will to deal with the iranian Nuclear threat but need our logistical, political, and Operational support.

The Beebill, you brought up the Beebill here, with Europeans and Brits around?

Boy, you're in for it now.

Oh, the "Beebill" bit, eldest son when about two years old, called the Bible, Beebill.

So, SAS, if I understand your logic....Israel pokes the nasty dog with the stick, Dog bites back, this continues back and forth forever. The taunting goes into escalation and Big Brother has to sort out the detrimental aftermath.

For once, I wish Israel would just kick ass, use the ensuing hot glass for artwork and let us support them afterwards, diplomatically, of course.
