Common criminal gangs don't blow up the US embassy in Kenya.
Can we give that silly old trope a rest, please? Criminals? No, a bit more than that. Words have meanings.
Second: John, you cannot extradite someone you have not yet arrested and detained. The Taliban did not, would not, could not arrest Osama or any others.
Your idiotic "extradite" line of crap is beyond risible.

Michelle Bachmann strikes again.
The Minnesota Republican told the Washington Free Beacon in a story published Thursday that she gave the President her two cents this week right after her family took their picture with him at the event. "I turned to the president and I said, something to the effect of, 'Mr. President, you need to bomb the Iranian nuclear facilities, because if you don't, Iran will have a nuclear weapon on your watch and the course of world history will change,'" she said.

The congresswoman, who sought the GOP presidential nomination in 2012, said Obama got a "condescending smile on his face and laughed at me."
She said he told her: "Well Michele, it's just not that easy."
I'm with the President on this.

Dear Representative Bachmann:
I am glad you are not our president.
Merry Christmas

I agree with that statement however I also wish Mr. Obama had stayed in Chicago organizing neighborhoods.

I'm pretty sure most of your presidents would be that naive before they get the house and keys.

Its only after they step inside and are "briefed" and try and do anything that they realize its just not that easy.

Teabagger S***'s on Veterans

The teabagger Tom Coburn from Oklahoma (probably Con's favorite), as he leaves the Senate, is blocking a bill to try to reduce veteran suicide rates. This truely shows what Republican baggers think of our veterans. It is only $22M which is 1/4 of what Cheney paid to two pyschs to say people do not like to be fed through their ass. Well done baggers.

Using MSNBC as a source immediately discredits the story. But then some folks are not concerned about "Facts".

Sultan has denigrated our military and those who have served far too many times here at PPRuNe to ever be thought he actually gives a shit about Veterans.

This is what the Bill covers......

Fact of the matter -

Veteran suicides are up.

Civilian suicides are also up.

Any remedy needs to address both sides of the issue!

And "teabagger" is not an appropriate word to use in this forum. References to scroto-oral sex acts may provide childish amusement to some, but they add nothing to the discussion.

It's a recurrent theme here, 421, from the America-haters. It shows the moral emptiness of the left, and their lack of meaningful dialogue.

Best left ignored.

Looks like Jeb Bush may run for the White House in 2016. I don't know a great deal about the man. Any thoughts on his potential candidacy?

Of course the difference between Robert Mugabe setting his wife up to succeed him, and a third member of the Bush Family likely up against the second member of the Clinton family is...............?

421,

It would appear "Tea Bagger" applied in a political context is quite acceptable to the Mods here at JB.....or else that particular post would have been removed and the Poster made aware of its unacceptability.

And in my innocence, I assumed teabagger was an insult as it implied it was a member of the Tea Party who did not use loose leaf tea, but common-or-garden teabags. Things you wish you hadn't found out......

Against it, I don't like family dynasties in politics, whether it be the Kennedys, the Clintons or the Bushs.

Two Bush Presidents were one too many.

Hell, even Barbara Bush is against having Jeb Bush as the third Bush President.

Sad thing is, Jeb Bush would have most likely been the best of the three.

Not so fast there, con, not so fast.

If you look at most of the recent polls - for whatever they're worth - you'll note that the person with most of the approval of GOP voters is......

..... not Jeb Bush but.....

.... Mitt Romney.

I think Mitt should run again. I really do.

No more Bush's or Clinton's.

I voted for Romney last time and will do so again if he is the Candidate.

The danger is that would give us Single Party Rule and we know how that turns out every time no matter which party is in control.

I voted for Romney last time as well and would do so again in a heart beat if he was the Republican party candidate. However, something tells me he will refuse to run. Which leads to..... whom.... as a GOP candidate? (Chris Christie may well be that candidate.)

I've no doubt that Romney would have been a good, if not great President. Unfortunately he is white and never stood a chance against Obama.

However, he has the stink of being a loser and I don't think he can win in 2016.

But then again, Nixon came back after losing the race for the Presidency and for Governor of California and finally won the Presidency, so who knows.
