Scary isn't it?

Well, thanks to the bloody empire building nutcases at the EU, we've awakened the sleeping bear in Russia--or caused him to fight back with a vengeance.

Folks can blame the U.S. supporting a Ukraine government that is wary/hostile to Putin all they want.

But it was the voracious lalaland EU salivating to bring another few million have nots into the prosperous EU umbrella to provide endless flow of newest cheap workers for its richer nations that caused this.

If I recall having followed this closely through the years...if the unelected commission members running the horrifically corrupt EU (known of course as the EUSSR by wags) had stopped for a second to ponder how Putin would react when they wanted to put a new EU state THIS important right up close and personal to Russia, this never would have happened. And a place with Russia's only cold weather port? For cripes sake EU.

It was incendiary from the start.

The whole world decided to live in some kind of deluded collective amnesia about Russia and Putin for the past 20 years, while the energy flows suited and their Oligarchs propped up Europe's failing banks with their billions and billions of cough cough money.

Then they go and p!ss off Putin? They can't have it both ways.

And now everybody's going to pay the price for another EU delusion.

So Bagger, the fact that the majority of Ukrainians despise Russia, and wanted to associate with the more civilized (after a fashion) part of Europe should have been completely ignored?

Kowtowing to despots has never worked.

I ran into an old friend today from the USAF in the commissary.
Good guy, was standardization one from the old C141 days.
Talked about who died who is left. Who is still flying in the civilian word etc.
Noticed in his cart many can goods.
I asked you are not like that show on discovery some kind of survival one.
Seems he is and many are now, names he told me.
Thought about this on the way home.
We have war in the middle east, Ammo is hard to find,Israel is slapping Kerry s bulldog face and calling him an idiot.
Putin is really bitch slapping Obama and using him like a cheap whore, Obama is too stupid to see this.
Putin is wanting stronger ties with Cuba.
Many high ranking military fired by Obama, because they say he is wrong.
Now Obama will open the border with executive action, for illegals.
All over the news now.
Meanwhile many people with foreign wives trying to enter the usa legally from Asia is a goat rope.
My wife included.
Hispanics ilegal ones show up here with all kinds of illness, yet the USA is charging me 500-700 usd to make sure my wifes medical is ok.
Just more welfare man uneducated idiot delays.
We are smarter than this one, time for him to go ASAP. Impeachment before he destroys us all.
I see issues here building, maybe my old friend the C141 aircraft commander is not far off from being correct.

Time to re-name this the "Timothy McVeigh memorial rant thread", the militia would feel right at home here...
Sad that the survivalists never quite make it far enough into the woods to be out of wi-fi or cellular data range

Yeah, that's nice, but anyway, who has a favorite MRE?

Being prepared isn't a crime. Come a natural disaster or other calamity, it sounds damn prescient.

I can understand that, turn the can upside down and you might find it was supplied by Watties in NZ.

Not the canned one's, the packet one's you add water to.

The "canned" ration packs were crap
(but don't think they were made by NZ).

I didn't say the cans were not crap, just that I could understand someone preferring them over the other stuff.

To be honest, I can't remember any of the cans being good.

Re Watties, I think you are referring to the ????? and Beans one.

Anything was better than the Ham and ????? that smelt and tasted yuk.

As I recall the Watties cans that we were delighted to find in the Australian ration packs was a meat and vegetable dish. Nothing flash but better than some of the other ration packs available at the time.

Prepack, of prepack.co.nz, claim to have experience of supplying ration packs to the Australian Defence Force but I dont know if they still do or how much they provided in the past and neither am I inclined to ever again put myself in a position where I might encounter their wares.

The CIA Director apologized to the US Senate today for spying on it.

CIA spied on Senate, internal review finds#

Despite denying, in public, that accusation.

The Democrat-majority Senate accepted the apology.

The minor matters of it being illegal for the CIA to operate within the US,
of the CIA, an Executive Branch agency, spying on the Legislative Branch, and absolutely no real outrage by the Senate and the media are simply things to overlook.

One wonders if a Republican President spyed on a Democrat Senate if the reaction would be so tame?

Again and again, I am shocked and saddened by a co-equal branch of government, simply lieing back and thinking of England because Barry does it. Time was, senators cared about the Institution of the Senate and vigorously defended its power.

Some good mojo for Barry going on...

Ah but Brick, you missed the most important thing about the whole issue.

Welfare Man stated he has full confidence in the CIA Director.

The CIA joins the IRS, NSA, ATF, HHS, EPA, CBP, DOI, BLM in major violations of Federal Law and in some cases the Constitution and the Media and Democrats (less the one guy today who called for Brennan to step down.....hoping it will help him in his re-election bid), remain totally silent.

Representative Lee got caught lying about calling for Impeachment of Bush when she so boldly declared the Democrats never called for such an action and screamed foul over the Republicans doing so for Obama (not withstanding the Republicans have not introduced such a Resolution about Obama as the Democrats did to Bush).
