I think he DID have the gear retracted.
I think that he would have just broken it off landing
in that field. Pretty rough bit of terrain that.

Yer, That was a bit scary I think Cap'n.
I'd have baled out, even without a parachute.

Not mentioned in the AAIB report if the gear was lowered, but I suspect the dry stone dyke may have modified it if it had been down.

I'm BAAAAACCCCKKKK!

Mr L found our old router last night, so here I am.

Move went ok, ta. Having an issue with the drains but it's all in hand so not to worry. Kids rooms are decorated and we're getting through the boxes quite quickly. Can't be bothered today though, too tired. New dryer due to arrive anytime now. Ours went WHHHHEEEEE! BANG! SMOKE!

Bloody movers! They must have cracked the smoke holder, lexxi.

Any spare boxes would be welcome in the spa. The set that was under the pool table has disintegrated.

Pictures toute de suite, ta.

That does not say, 'Pictures of all elements of your three-piece suite.'

Afternoon all, sorry to be a bit late on parade, morning was manic - dropped Stockette at school in time for breakfast then dashed off to commit meeja. Really disappointing, had chatted through the matter with the business correspondent beforehand and had a few really great punchlines - then he didn't give me the chance to use any of them, and I ended up humming and hahing like an idiot.

Oh well, can't be a genius at everything all the time.

Was someone not living in the boxes under the pool table, TB - if so, what's happened to them?

Lovely news on the driving pupil!

No, I haven't seen a single poppy seller anywhere this year, nor even any on sale in the shops. We usually have a tray of them on sale at the security check point at work, but this year, none. I sent money to the Earl Haig Fund and downloaded a poppy image to my phone, but don't have a proper poppy to wear. Such a shame.

Obviously not super-sized it then as he stuck to calorie counting. Only wy to maintain a loss. All the fad diets boil down to that in the end.

Just picked the car up from its first APK (the Dutch MOT) combined with a full service, 1650, not as bad as it seems I suppose when there were 2 tyres (@350 each) and a set of rear discs and bearings (@180) included. Just when I was trying to have a quiet financial month. Youngest's birthday coming up too. She's come into her inheritance from her mum so am spared requests for new laptop etc. this year. (Dutch court and self finally convinced ex's toy boy that paying up would be cheaper, and a lot less painful than a visit from me. Only took three years since she died) Don't let the friendly smile fool you, I enjoy gratuitous violence.

Glad you didn't damage anything more important than your dignity Davaar

Temp here not more than 4C all day; winter drawers on I think.

Invitation received today as guest at team Christmas Dinner from my old lot. Will be nice to catch up on all the news.

Piddle in the Hole bitter
After use instruction or comment on the taste?

Glorious multi coloured sky over to the West, them dammed Cumbrians get everything.

Many years ago a acquaintance of mine went on a bacon and egg diet,I kid you not, lost a lot of weight as well.
If one needed to diet, which one dont, one could live with bacon an eggs twice a day.

Senior Moment and Spell Checker this time

Considering options for tea. Been waiting for Bob the Builder to show up most of the afternoon so am stuck with what's in house.

Fancy Cauliflower Cheese but there's a distinct lack of cauliflower. Would Sprout Cheese be acceptable, otherwise it looks like an egg and chip roll.
