UN CRPD membership. Almost as funny as Saudi chairing the Human Rights committee.

I note Uganda are the current chair.

I presume their findings will treated with the respect they deserve.....

Beinazir Lasharie, a former Big Brother contestant who is now a Labour councillor in West London, posted a video on Facebook titled “ISIS: Israeli Secret Intelligence Service”.

She commented: “Many people know about who was behind 9/11 and also who is behind ISIS. I’ve nothing against Jews . . . just sharing it!”

She then wrote last week: “I’ve heard some compelling evidence about ISIS being originated from Zionists!”

Tory MP Oliver Dowden says: “It beggars belief these vile comments came from an elected representative of the Labour Party. She should apologise and resign immediately.”

Cllr Lasharie refused to apologise for her comments and said: “I don’t know what to believe any more. I’ve seen compelling evidence that links Zionists to ISIS.”
No points for guessing what her "cultural" background is!

Labour, the nasty party, have at least suspended her.

Working Tax Credits.

I thought that they were a crazy idea when they were introduced.

Tory voter who confronted minister over tax-credit cuts may not be affected by reforms - Telegraph

Isn't it time that people started shouting very loudly at the left "Shame on you" for frightening the 'vulnerable' in society with erroneous rubbish about what effects the 'tax credits' cuts will have on them. Clearly this woman had been frightened by the nonsense coming from the left, totally misleadingly as it turns out.

'Tax credits' is a totally nonsense idea. When it turned out to be the shambles that it was when Brown brought it in, someone pointed out that the HMRC's role is to take money from people. When they are given the job of giving money to people it is not a surprise that it goes wrong. The sooner that stupid idea disappears from the British tax system, the better! And the scaremongers from the left should be shamed for trying to scare the vulnerable as they so clearly are doing. (They have no viable policies, so they have to resort to scaremongering!!)

Apparently we have a lack of digital skills. The government has identified so called "digital exclusion" hampering growth in the economy. So much for teh use of Social Media/forums etc.

Excellent cartoon that I saw in an Indian Air Force magazine once (in the very early days of electronic gizmos): Navigator standing with a calculator in his hand and a puzzled look saying (and I can just imagine the accent adding to it), "These darned computer buttons keep striking the wrong fingers"! One of the best of 'nav' jokes!
