My girlfriends cat used to put both his front paws around her neck hugging her whilst nibbling her ear lobe. Bizzare.

Bl00dy thing used to hiss at me

Could that hiss actually have been a Psssst! in an effort to show you what pleased the lady and how to do it?

(Or maybe the cat just didn't like you nibbling it's ear?).

A guy had a dog that would make a bolt for the door if he applied a heated branding iron on its backside.
You nicked my post

A farmer I once knew had a pet pig.

This pig could open gates, round up the sheep and would even act as a guard dog.

It only had three legs though.

When I asked him about it, he replied:

'Something that good. You don't eat it all at once!'

Not sure it fits exactly here, but it's close enough.

So it's damn cold here and I'm watching the news trying out the new laptop Santa brought me for Christmas.

Due to the cold, I've got an electric blanket on my lap and legs to ward off the chill.

Our rescue cat, then a kitten, now a big, lumbering [email protected], jumps up on the foot rest, puts his nose under the laptop and pushes it to the side, ignoring my outraged "Hey, what the he11 are you doing?"

Space cleared, he curls up and goes to sleep, backside warmed due to my electricity blanket and bill.

Brick, you need to train them to sleep on your slippers while you're at work so that when you come home, your slippers are nice and warm. And then get them to sleep on your feet when you're curled up with said lappy.

And yes, I have a cat on my feet as I type

Cheers

After I've gotten a shower and am about to dry my hair, my male cat, Bo, loves to get his head wet and then get his hair dried. Yep....he wants the blow dryer pointed on his head and body. If I stop, he goes back to the trickling faucet, (where he drinks his water) and gets his head wet again, comes back and stands next to me. He will even bump my arm repeatedly, until I point the dryer at him again. This happens throughout, until I'm done.

Perhaps he was a hair stylist in a previous life?

I had a budgie who:

- Chased tennis balls
- Figured out how to escape it's cage by opening the latch on his seed feeder from inside
- Could do a pitch perfect imitation of the phone ringing, to the point where people would get up to answer the phone, and wonder why there was noone on the other end when they picked it up. Could also do sound of the buttons being pressed which used to annoy anyone trying to get through one of those "Type in your account number" banking phone services.

Entirely possible COF.

My first horse was a reincarnated photographer who'd obviously been given a hard time by too many people. If he saw me with a camera, he'd do things like coming so close I couldn't possibly take a good picture, or he'd turn his rear in my direction and then look back at me. Once he even stuck out his tongue.

Latearrival... there's something to that behavior, isn't there? A bit too obvious, to simply dismiss.

Bo will frequently be laying down, on the bathroom counter, before I've even gotten out of the shower. He knows the ritual. The sound has never fazed him. Never seen anything like it.

Of course he likes you. He's also expecting you to get his sense of humor, in addition to the obvious fact that he's camera shy!!

(Or maybe he was once in the Witness Protection Program.)

My mutt goes into my dirty laundry hamper, pulls out a pair of panties and drags them into the living room (but only when I have company, naturally).

My little kitty Pinky and HP TouchSmart Computer are a deadly combination.

If I'll leave my office door open,I end up clearing 20 plus sites from the taskbar ever since she figured out how to make the screen beep and give her a new frames to play with.

My ginger cat Buster loves parties. Friends, strangers, makes no matter if the room's crowded, he walks among the guests, accepting a stroke here and there from worshippers, ignoring people who don't treat him with admiration. He's even been known to sit outside our neighbour's front door after hearing them having a party inside - music, clinking glasses, happy clamour of voices, Buster loves it all.

Basically I think he just approves of getting as many Buster-lovers in one place at one time, rather than leaving them spread out over our mountainside and over the year...

My dog (Bryn) makes me happy just by being there. Maybe not unusual, but definitely a gift
