The numbers mean nothing, no clever hacking needed, one simply supplies a name and a valid email address that doesn't actually have to exist. It wouldn't be too difficult to write a script wich generates convincing names and emails. They would never know one way or another.

Mass extinctions are now, IMHO, probable
Mass extinctions are not only probable, they're an absolute certainty. Its the natural course of events. Species come, species go - usually as the result of gross environmental changes - but the planet goes on. The human race will become extinct; whether it happens next millenium, next century or next week really doesn't matter, there's absolutely nothing we can do about it. Are we all now, like Gordon Brown and Al Gore, so full of our own self importance that we can no longer stare reality in the face?

That sums up the 'climate change' fundamentalists.

Oh come, Basil, don't moan. Here on PPRuNe it's only the dreaded 120 seconds.

What I regret most, is that I didn't keep a copy of my scathing e-mail.

Does anyone have the skills to work out whether or not this poll is secure from the Afghan effect?

Copenhagen may have a dramatic effect on airline careers

I am a little bit puzzled because a version of the news that the poll has been reset that I posted on Rumours and News has been removed. What is agreed in Copenhagen can have a devastating effect on the airline business and therefore airline careers. I would have thought that professional pilots would have an interest in that!
