Yes... I understand those Brazilians have a special waxing technology for making their Beavers go faster. I imagine it to be something akin to waxing your skis but I am only pondering here.

Has no one mentioned the Dionne quints?

Or the DHC-5? (RCAF joke, told of the brown-uniformed paratroops: "What's brown, and comes comes out the back of a Buffalo?")

I believe the intent is to make them go slower.

Beaver wax

Due to the range of temperatures here we avail ourselves of the Swix Wax Wizard in order to determine the correct wax.

SwixSport.no

God bless those Norwegian fellows for making the decision on which wax to wax a beaver with, easier. Anyone used a Klister on a beaver? Supposed to improve grip....

I understand that the Brazilians haven't yet perfected the technique, and are relying on the good folks in Los Angeles, or more specifically Hollywood, to refine the technique to its ultimate conclusion. We will all, however, have to revert to choppers as there is no longer a landing strip.

I offer my gratitude to our American cousins. Or possibly our merkin cousins.

Is everything being devaluated in Toronto? It was 06 the last time I visited. Probably has something to do with climate change.

Finding Tims

Donkey149
Where are the Timmys? Best way to find one is the way that we do it here. Wait until you see a police car with lights on and siren blaring, just follow the cop and youíll be at the Timís in no time.

As to poutine and how we manage to eat it without suffering immediate cardiac arrest... Playing the MONOSA golf course at -40 burns off plenty off grease.

Another famous Canadian: Gaye Delorme, author of the Calgary Anthem, the Rodeo Song.
