There's probably some spare at Whitehall this morning. On unrelated political joshery, one notes with satisfaction that in the traditional exchange of goody bags twixt prez & pm, Gord handed over an exquisite pen holder made from the timbers of a slave ship and in return received...

a box set of dvd's. Obama it seems has marked the card.

One is in no way a supporter of Peter Mandelson or what he stands for I find the throwing of objects at politicians banal and childish.

Both of them are odious specimens but, violence achieves very little.

Hmm, wouldn't have happened if the green custard had been <100ml and in a plastic bag seperate from your other luggage. Finally, I can see a plausible reason to ban liquids in carry-on luggage

Prescott went way up in my estimation after that. That smug pikey egg thrower deserved a smack in the puss if anyone ever did. Well done John.

Quote: She added: "Peter Mandelson is the same person who effectively bullied Ed Miliband and other members of the cabinet to accept a third runway that nobody wants, a third runway that no one was consulted on and no one is able to say no to." Unquote.

Well I want a third runway, thank you very much.

The treehuggers seem to not know about the vast quantities of fuel being burnt as a result of having to hold before landing at LHR because the present two strips are at maximum capacity.

Why aren't people like this subject to the same laws as the rest of us i.e. arrest, questioning, charges, etc Whilst the majority of law abiding citizens can't even contemplate having overdue library books without being added to the terrorist watchlist these persons can conduct themselves as they wish. Perhaps the green lobby has become so powerful that it's beyond the law. I can bet if that had been fathers for justice and had chained themselves to Harriet Harmon's car there would have been uproar and a few behind the scene phonecalls to her media buddies in order to cast fathers for justice in a negative light.

This plane stupid group needs to stop causing so much disruption and possible damage to aircraft and their operation. It's not right that people have to suffer because of these nothing better to do bunch of social hooligans.

I think BN, Mandy & the guvmint would reason that the lady (?) in question had had quite enough free publicity for one day.

Something green with the pin removed might have been more fitting.
