How dare it lurk in such a low laying place. Quick DX Wombat send in your hound to flush it out.
The saucy pans, have not been washed, oh dear.

We have a blizzard and the forecast for tomorrow is -27 C. Heaven help the sailors on a night like this.

Morning all. Bit parky here, but how can one complain when Mr Davaar and his sailors are pottering about in -27c?

Ms Picker - They didn't bite. Unfortunately another old lag is in New York and has warned the youngsters there that if I do the closer they must watch out for a kicker sentence starting 'And finally', since it will mean I'm spoofing.

I've got my wife's company's dinner/dance on Friday up near STN somewhere. Must admit I'm a bit nervous in that after my spell incarcerated alongside other fruitcakes I'm not that brilliant in the company of stacks of people I don't know at all.

The last time I tried something like this I ended up at the doctors. She was mildy surprised that my BP was 220 over something. What a wimp (er, me, not her)! Anyway, that was shortly after I got out, so I'll give it a go on Friday and if it goes pear-shaped I shall plead diplomatic flu and head for the hills.

That's something of a relief, angels!

As to the dinner, I often suggest that people who are uncomfortable in the presence of lots of strangers should imagine them with no clothes on. Not sure that would help your blood pressure in this instance, however....

In the film "Space Cowboys", what type was Hawk's biplane?

My only role in the proceedings is to pay for it...
The main reason why "Father of the Bride" has tears rolling down his cheeks during the ceremony. Marrying off a daughter is an emotional experience in so many ways.

Sun is burning off the fog, slight frost remains, blue sky and no wind. Looked v. picturesque, unfortunately camera needs a recharge.

Off to sling birdseed.

Lovely day here in Herts. Off for walk.
Man's coming soon to clean the cooker, one job I love to delegate and worth every penny.

Yes Blacksheep I shall have a tear in my eye as she makes her vows. Her 'intended' is a smashing chap which makes it a little bit easier.

Ah goudie, I've had three weddings and a funeral in the past couple of years and cried like a baby at all of them.

I enjoyed the weddings, though they have left us pennyless, they were worth every penny.

Well I'll stick the extractor fan on.

And if there are any ex tractor fans on here, we'll get cluttered up with pics of bloody fergies next.

My garden has disappeared under a blanket of fog. I was going to wander out for a bit of exercise to kill off the cold but not in this murk!
