Ah my precious, I appreciate that but it looks like a control tower(sort of).We used the words descriptively rather than factually.

On reflection it looks much more like a bloody great radar scanner.

It must be a bugga only having tanned lower legs.

I was part of a group that drove trucks the length of Italy in August 1979.

The drivers all ended up with one tanned forearm.

If you click on the pictures it will take you to Flickr and will give you the full lowdown, Ie the exif. Which will give you Canon 1dx with Ef500mm L plus all the parameters used, I also have a GPS module fitted so clicking on the map and selecting satellite will give you an aerial location and the exif will give you time, direction and gps coordinates, such is technology these days

What it won't tell you is the weekends spent staring at that damned stick from the hide.

It's the Attenborough nature reserve just outside Nottingham in the delta hide, anyone going needs to get the combination to the door from the reserve main building. They say after the end of the month you won't see them again until next year.

Thanks. The camera I grabbed that morning was my wife's little Leica C - its zoom range came in very handy (my other cameras on this trip only have fixed focal length lenses).
