I always thought a 5 mile run would sweat the alcohol out of the system.

Always too knackered to try it with a hangover, though...

A couple of minutes on 100% oxygen during cruise always works wonders for me.
Failing that, the Dean Martin cure is the way to go.

In my experience the O2 cure is short term and the headache usually comes back 10 fold.

Tried it in a car once. The resultant fireball ignited my sock fluff and I burnt my feet. Good job I wasn't driving..........oh to be young again!

I'm still trying to assemble a picture in my mind.

I wasn't helped initially by assuming that "sock fluff" was a euphamism.


Anyway, I'm trying to watch the footy, so stop distracting me. (at the rate they're going, the score will be 9 all at the final whistle! )

A full English Breakfast, fried, and with black pudding.
If it stays down you're cured. Ditto if it comes back. Voila!
And lots of coke, which has the correct sugar salt balance to sort out your electrolytes. (Also good for diarrhoea)

I assumed that eating lots of bready things would absorb the alcohol. It seems to work, but if I think about it hard enough it sounds like nonsense, seeing as the morning after you've probably absorbed most of the alcohol into your bloodstream. Is it just psychological?
