Wolfie Just tried that link and it 'froze' me 'puter.Prolly some company censorship.

Bluey Yes bought the plants 3 years ago when I first moved across from Blackpool. They are thriving now but think they would do a lot better in a climate like yours.

Saying of which read an article the other day saying that the blackcurrant growers in this country are having problems as it isn't getting cold enough in winter.Apparently they need a really good cold spell to trigger the blackcurrants growng cycle to 'put them to sleep'.If they don't they don't die back and the next years harvest suffers.British growers are the main suppliers to a famous cordial.

Bummer, Nige. Sorry about that. It worked fine for me.

If anyone can point me towards a free, no-software-required version of Paul Gosses theme to "Due South", I'd be much obliged. I don't do stuff like MP3 or anything like that; I rarely listen to music, other than a little classical, jazz, or blues, and I know nothing of the internet trade in it. But I would quite like to hear the song again.

Well one clicked on the thingy and waited, and waited, and waited, norra bloody peep.

Staying in a place called Kirrimuir up in Jockistan, one axed the landlady what the industry round there was, or rather being part of the UK, what the local industry used to be,she said soft fruit, apparently vast herds of blackcurrents used to roam the fields up there.

There's another one you may enjoy, BW. Same bloke doing a number with a chorus that goes "We're gonna ride forever, You can't keep horsemen in a cage...".

Good stuff...

It's so we can trace internet listeners in Spain, as it affects listener figures.

It is interesting though to see where the signal goes before you hear it.

One is curious now, Ibbie ... where does it go? It's something I hadn't thought of actually ... how it gets from your studio to my computer.

Biggles, I hope the injections are not too bad. Cortisone is it? One had those entertaining little critters in one's achilles tendon prior to surgery. Probably one of the least entertaining visits to the doctor one has ever had.

Here you go Nigel

Bluey

Without the map infront of me, I seem to recall it going from Spain to Italy, Eastern Europe, India, Singapore, NZ and orf to you via Sydney. I may have missed out a stop or two!

The air has been blue here with expleatives this morning aimed at that piece of junk called a Whirlpool washing machine, which decided to go on the blink mid wash and flash up the "FH" message. You can guess what FH stands for from my point of view. It proudly displays the words "Made in Germany" on the front....if they made too many of these heaps it could start another war!
An hour to get it working again and got wet and dirty and now my back hurts. I gave it two good belts with my right boot to get it back in place, which made me feel a little better!

I hope I don't come accross anyone German this afternoon.

Why are all these objects ganging up on me this week? Think I might purchase a crusher for any more items that want to give me grief!
