Good effort, Whirly! I'm well on the way - I have 250 posts under my original moniker 'a_random'.

Gerund,

I didn't know you read Wannabes. Thank you anyway.

I'm almost getting to believe you're a nice person.

I only said almost, mind.

Send Clowns must be Ian Allan's biggest fan!

We know he 'used to' have a girlfriend who was more intelligent than him.... the mind just boggles!!!!

I think he is an impostor. In fact I think I know who he is.

He is that random guy in the anorac you see with his nose pressed against the mesh on the road south of Bournemouth International, notebook in hand, counting.

PS Send Clowns - that is not the way to get into Whirly's knickers. Oh, what's the use?

Gerund, dear boy, who is Ian Allan?

Not only am I back with the girl who is more intelligent than I am, who incidentally reads JetBlast regularily, but now even have a job in aviation (not flying yet, unfortunately. Have my frozen ATPL and am looking).

I see those people watching, noses pressed to the fence (figuratively - the fence is too short for that!) every day on my cycle ride to or from work. I want to say to them 'Get airborne! If you like aeroplanes then fly the bloody things!' but I suspect they would consider it too expensive. We who actually fly are the true fanatics. We know it is too expensive, but do it anyway. But I am afraid I do not own an anorak. This was almost a real nuissance as there was a lot of rain this week, but I managed to cycle to and from work in the intervals between showers.

If I was trying to impress Whirly would I have risked offending her by insulting her favoured mount, the R22? She is quite aware of my desire never to fly one.

Huggy, old chap, definitely a case for a studied silence. 2154 bored moments in under 2 years

Send Clowns -

I should know better, but I just can't let your last posting go without some small comment.

Firstly, being 'intelligent' and being 'with you' are mutually exclusive. You should be wondering what she's after! Or she's really as thick as a plank. I would love to meet her.

Secondly, you must be f**cking tall. Most people can't rest their chins on perimeter fences.

Thirdly, I think you are being very presumptious in thinking you know what is Whirly's favourite mount. I can tell you for nothing that, when she's mounting, she certainly isn't thinking of R22s. (Your secret is safe with me Whirly).

I had to look anorak up in the dictionary. You are quite right, I spelt it incorrectly - and you knew. Funny that.

Whirly, after your first post on PPRuNe it's down hill. I think one post is enough to get you hooked, and it's not till you reach 300 that you figure out your hooked.

Congrats anyway Whirly

Unhappy

Gerund, old boy,

I had not even noticed that you can't spell. The fact that I am educated does not make me a nerd.

If you cannot rest your chin on the three-foot perimeter fence of BIA then your shorter than I imagine you, and your revolting personality can be put down to an extreme case of the classic 'little man's disease' psychological complex. I therefore pity you rather than despise you as I did before. Not that I even mentioned chin resting.

For a man that publically announced that he had a 'social disease' on the WWW to call someone unintelligent for being with me is a little strange. Any female would have to be dumb as a mule and desperate as Stevie Wonder at a Klan rally to be even associated with you. She won't be offended by you calling her thick as a plank, as she is quite aware of and confidant in her intelligence, and she has more than enough to see through you if you did meet her.

I have met Whirly - she is a very pleasant and interesting person and great company. You are a revolting little creep who thinks it is acceptable to completely ignore the feelings of other people in your dealings with them. Why should I allow you to speak for her?

Thank you Dingducky.

I'll leave others to hurl insults at each other on the subject of Whirly's favourite mount - I'll just sit and watch I think

Dan,
yes, you'll be there soon, because you're hooked already. I don't know if that's good or bad, but it's not curable.

confident, Send Clowns.

I am starting to get the strangest feeling that Send Clowns doesn't like me. Pity really because I bear him no animosity at all.
