nosefirsteverytime,

Lord Milchett was a well known inbred whose trolley had long since parted from its wheels. You appear to have the same problem. Knowing how charlatans are dealt with in this noble game, I suggest you reconsider your position and nominate a proper response.
Bank, indeed sir!

I await your response before having you banned by the adjudicators from further participation.

I give you.......CANNING TOWN

You can't use CANNING TOWN after the "Australian male chicken; drinking lager, play."

There's only the one response I've ever heard that was acceptable and that's ...

SYDNEY OPERA HOUSE

Nya nya na nya nya.

What's wrong with you man? Didn't you realise that type of move was banned during the convention of 2004?

A better alternative (using the Closed Stations rule of 1987) would be York Road

Oh dear oh dear oh dear.....

Why is it, (having just returned from missionary work in Lagos selling self addressed envelopes to those nice people who need help with their inheritances), I find that Mornington Cresecent has been resurected by someone claiming not to know the rules. This sort of behaviour should not be tolerated , it's a guise, it's a wizz, it's downright cheating of the highest calibre.

I am due to attend the Founders Meeting this year along with other cheats... err .. sorry members ( lukeafb1, itchy, Evening Star ) to name but a few. We will need to amend some of the rules yet again.

To add a bit of underhand mystery...

As the rule ammendments are likely to take some time, I will step in with an interim move.

I will start by using the Piccadilly fast passing rule to get myself into the right epoch - before moving straight to Gillespie Road

I presume I am allowed to use the new changed station name regulations introduced after the Philpott-Kravnitsch fiasco?

Still not knowing the rules, and bluffing my way through this method, I shall use my own - the Edinburgh Variation 2004, which allows me a move to:

Turnham Green

Jordan,
You're forgetting that picadilly line trains only stop there before 0630 and after 1030 so that's an invalid move. Shame could that would put you only 1 Straddle away from a win.

I will pick up from last and go to...

Itchy,

damn you! And there was me thinking that my complete lack of knowledge meant I had some beginners luck.

Ok, so if you choose Mill Hill, my Edinburgh Variation rules tell me that there is a chance that I could go to ....

Heathrow Terminal 4

Hmmm

Just as I thought...Your profile does not do you justice Jordan D

Check this out fellow Mornington Crescenters. Clever or what !!!

Edinburgh Variation eh??? That was never ratified in 2004 therefore 1956 rule still applies and your go is null and void.

I give you the only and only move possible in situations like this

St. Pauls

Edited after much nervous research.

Check this also, and look at the number of times "LUKE" is mentioned. Who do we all Know is a cheating G*T ... yes "lukeafb1" Have I uncovered yet another cunning way of his cheating his way to the top. I hope so!!!

Oh nice one TIM - you've gone and put us into a Dollis Loop. I did hope there would be at least one game where I could avoid using the goat cheese gambit. Shame it was not to be.

TIM. The Edinburgh Variation may not have been ratified but the move is also permitted under the Exeter variant.
Most people think the Exeter variant was repealed in 1842 (as it was scheduled to be) but an outbreak of phagedena caused the abandonment of the AGM.
Now I know some of you will regard this as a bit cheeky but what the hell

Tut tut Jordan. Your Heathrow Terminal 4 looks like you are trying a rerun of the aviation only MC we played, with a varying degree of success, a few weeks ago. Under normal rules, as TIM pointed out, it was a null move.

Now I know some of you will regard this as a bit cheeky
Dead right ... dead cheeky ... but legal, so here we go:

East Acton

By the way TIM, did you ever settle your bar bill from the last Founders Meeting? As I recall, it was ahem rather substantial.

Proot, you're an absolute disgrace to the game! I'm on to you in a big way, so I suggest you retire to consider your future, if you have one. For the benefit of those new to the game, Proot has just (unsuccessfully) tried a "Neasden Nobble", which was discredited during the 1934 Eastbourne Semi-Finals, after Horace Chumley-Doakes III (later found to be Lord Mauningstone in an ill-fitting wig and beard - and incidentally, Proot's father), attempted the same strategy. When the strategy was disallowed, Chumley-Doakes threatened the adjudicators with violence, if they did not immediately reinstate the move. He was summarily ejected from the game and hurled ignominiously into the village duck pond! I am therefore free to play.......CANADA WATER.

Unfortunately not (for me that is). I have just dug out the only volume of the rulebook I have in the office and according to Duckbills ammendment - my move will have to be disallowed.
Tottenham Court Road it is.

Apologies there!

I can only deny having to have ever written those pieces ... unless there's money involved ... money for a poor student like me!

Seeing as their is still contention on the Edinburgh Variation (2004), I shall continue to use it, to suggest a move to ...

Hammersmith (Ham & City line)
