Re: Mornington Crescent

Oh dear. You leave the game table for a day or so (as permitted by the amendment to the 1924 Consolidated Instrument) and come back to find near anarchy ruling.

A word of warning to those who challenge Jordan's authority - remember what happened to the late great Karlinsky when he tried to claim that Berrington was not authorised by the International Committee to arbitrate on the 1889 World Final. I'm not sure he ever recovered - he certainly never played at a competitive level again.

In the spirit of all things convivial, I will play Covent Garden.

Re: Mornington Crescent

although one does admire your ambiton to become a leading figure of authority during this game period Mr seventy-seven, I must further warn you that the annual Blemmington-Smythe arbitration trust fund may prohibit your desires. The fund will accomodate those that may need some guidance within game play and external training to create a better environment - for the benefit of the more refined among us.

Re: Mornington Crescent

Mr Twotter,it is written in the scriptures that Morden shall be played after East Finchley and as the Prophet Mohammed (pbuh) once clearly stated in a surat...

Smite thee who dares use Bakerloo who hath little faith in the Jubilee line for they are the infidels and the true knowledge must be brought to them'Surat 1453-45-567

Re: Mornington Crescent

Cripes, disappear and all of this happens. I for one don't believe Jordan and so shall not abide by the rulings of a young whippersnapper (in comparison to the vast percentage of us extreme elders) and it seems Gouby's none too happy neither guv. So might I suggest that, like Hoffmeister (I think it was), "follow the bear". No more telling what to do, please. There are a set of agreed principles in MC and they are not being obeyed - they are historic and have been laid down for a reason, oh purple-panted one.

Anyway, have Dollis Hill for a through-creel-trap.

And easily countered with my newly discovered reverse polarity Johnson-Burt anti-loop gambit

Which easily allows Mr Twotter to experience the virtues of the Grange Hill loop.-A different type of creel, just for a nice change eh?!

That's the first time I've ever seen Twotter and virtues in the same sentence!

It has been brought to my knowledge that Jordan was severely discredited in the '05 open at EDI and apparently had the audacity to attempt usage of the northern line whilst in anti-clockwise spoon.Mrs Trellis would also like it to be known that Mr Jordan has now been placed on the 'northern line offenders register' and the rammifications of this edict im sure I need not explain.

I fear this breaking news could have serious implications for the PPRuNe MC community.

I have also heard disturbing allegations as to the conduct of somebody, who shall remain nameless, during the Pretoria playoffs preceeding the EDI open.

Im deeply shocked!

Not looking so hot now, is it, Mr Jordan (any relation to the brainless model irk? I have to say I've seen a couple of pictures of her in purple pants and not a lot else. Maybe it's in the name?). EDI was simply lovely, though. The cheese was magnificent.

I've always though Penge was a strange name. Sounds a bit like - well, you know. Well, rude. So I won't play that on principle. What about Notting Hill Gate? Daring, isn't it but I think that ex-mat should get to judge on this as I nominate him as holder of the sacred post. Let me know, ex-mat, and I hope you'll accept my nomination. Do I hear a second?

Exmatelot - I'm deeply hurt by such liabelous allegations! You'll be hearing from my solicitor!

I have never had my conduct so badly discredited before, and I stand before my honour.

As such Finchley Road.
