The introduction of Tweebuffelsmeteenskootmorsdoodgeskietfontein permits this move, to earn me bonus points no matter who wins. Tradition was a bottle of champagne if the game was in person, but since it isn't I'll settle for free drinks at every Bash I make it to for life (as specified in Chapter 67, Article XVIII, paragraph E, suffix 4a of the Modern Rules Update for Mornington Crescent, Mornington Crescent Rule Association of Play.

"If player mentions station outside of London area within meritous rule and such station has unique attribute of possible merit for record (notable murder, altitude, fame, size, name length, name of double meaning in English, and other such types of note) then opponent may enter Blotto Minicomp for round of drinks if in person, or if no alcohol served or not in person, drinks to be served at earliest oppertunity.

Professor Wm Anquerre's Spankmonkey Prerogative should take care of that, considering we have the quorble free across the final quadrants.

VICTORIA

Unless it's in contradiction of any rules or laws, real or otherwise, in which case one will be happy to make a different move ... under advisement from the more experienced players here of course, the ones who seem to know what they're doing or at least give a very good impression that they know what they're doing. Am I waffling? Is that against the rules? Sorry, laws? Maybe I should just go away quietly and forget about learning this game. It's all too hard really especially when one hasn't been drinking anything stronger than orange juice. sigh

A new furry flair !

I apologise for my intrepid intervention and if you wish, I will vacate the network and find another wheel in another dimension in which to rotate perpetually.

No problem, Mr Hamster. The Laws specifically state that creel is a product, among other things, of the Antwerp By Play in which one found oneself earlier.

Would that be the bit of Scarsdale villas where a chap from the council took a slice out of the pavement?

BlueDiamond we aren't fooled by you pretending not to know what you are doing. That move of Victoria was a near perfect implementation of the Blatworthy-Snipe protocol. You came as near as dammit to getting Mr Twotter in pantaloon. Your little miss innocent act falls down in the face of such masterly play.

Orange juice, forsooth!

Waterloo

Did anyone see the TV prog. about Abba the other evening? Made me feel very old.

Damn and blast! One was hoping that near pantaloon would escape the attention of one's fellow players. To further widen one's margin of safety
