Elephant and Castle

As a mere beginner, I'm finding it a real challenge with you vastly more experienced players.

Steve, dear boy!

You have played a Livingstone, did you not notice the "Boris" that was played by ones self only a few moves ago?

A livingstone can never supercede a Boris (Trellis v Mereweather 1975 ruling)

Back on track to...

Gentlemen...It's simply begging for an Old Lady's Spread. Anyone?
Oh well, I'll do it myself...

Well even though begging is beneath oneself, a spread makes one think of Jam. Jam makes one think of Marmalade and naturally, Marmalade makes one think of

Paddington.

I'm sorry but the gloves are off now! I hereby invoke Bretznev's plethora.

Hatch end

Tram rules are now applicable.

A cunning move x213a, but methinks you are not 100% familiar with old Bretznev. His Plethora was a plethora of right handed rubber gloves (soilage or lack thereof was never disclosed). Therefore as we all know under Grieves Rules (which are in force from post 1), tram rules simply cannot apply where any latex or rubber product is related. Phew!

But lets keep the ball moving with a quick lateral bifurcation (lv not elevated) to:

Pudding Mill Lane

Oh dear!

You appear to have forgot to bifurcate. Allow me to suggest...

Pudding mill lane / Charing cross

That puts 1sloth in knid anyway!

Bah!

One avoids having to pore over the Rules, especially when knid is thrust upon one . . .

Therefore, one is more than somewhat comforted to reveal that knid may not be invoked in the seventh move after one's post and never by means of bifurcation (a damn' fine try, nonetheless!) : Stovold, on Grieves' rules, pp 1407-43, as amended by the Helsinki Accords (q.v.)

Gloves off? Perhaps, but decorum requires a neutral step-cross, clockwise, with full strile:

(ignoring all seven bifurcatory opportunities):

Belsize Park

N.B. Dollis Hill (shudder) is out of bounds for the next three moves.

In that case...

New Maldon

There is a very strict dress code at this destination. Stovold's advises the wearing of cashmere underwear (just in case)

NEW MALDON! Do you wire walk without net? nbOnly safe if you have one for pond dipping and you march over the power extension lead.

A more trusted and cunning ploy would have been Pinke Reisings Ascent to

........which validates a Kramer's thrust to hammersmith.

(wonderful opportunity for someone to use a Blackoff's Triple, but remember to adjust choice with Pinke Reising's and Knid liability)

Is a Schrödinger-Rutherford semi-integration allowed (OAT below 275K for more that 36.292 hours)? If so, the Prime Indicator Transfer Function yields Kew Gardens.

Given that it is the second week of an odd numbered year, I do believe that this is a rare opportunity to invoke a Lindo cascade and declare

Hmm, one is a little dubious of a Lindo so early in the year but one has neither the time nor inclination to consult one's Renqvist and Elias ('72 Mondanako Convention of course!). Therefore in order not to arrive late, we shall invoke the Mad Hatters Rush and proceed directly to:

Goodge Street

Now isn't that astonishing! I stay away from the hallowed hall for - well, it must be months - and come back just in time to witness the Mad Hatter's Rush! I've always wanted to play Rush Riposte - and now, at last, I can!

Piccadilly Circus!

Rush Riposte; The Pianists Retaliation: also known as the third rack man in off.

A hard move to follow. But I reckon a short traverse to

Well one is no mood whatsoever to even contemplate challenging his lordship so we shall keep things rolling along (technically a forward shunt but cannot be called a shunt due to Grieves Rules, therefore an Uphill Push) to:

Mudchute

(keep spoon in mind you wascally wabbits)

Discorde, methinks I'll do a " Jennifer Saunders " and move along to
Joanna Lumley.

I just wonder where I'll go from there?!?
