Tottenham Hale and Putney bridge, on a Saturday in October, the only option a Fynes Swish.
Mornington Crescent.
Ex Matelot would have foretold that, he would have stirred the salty waters.

Mr Bear do your best!

Well played your Lordship! One was all set to disrupt the expected Toulouse Double Turnover. Rarely has one seen such bold use of the Swish. Bravo!!

We begin again at

Well, I think I've sufficiently served my ban now, so I feel it's now time to play a new move [should clarify - new to me] learned through an informal yet feisty game this past weekend.

Dating back to the '86 Bournemouth General meeting, the double spin fanfare 'with a twist' enable me to play Brondesbury Park.

Following the Bounemouth meeting, one understands that certain moves are in direct contravention of the 1938 accord.

With Heathrow Terminal4 you are, my dear sir, in breach of this accord on the grounds described under paragraph 2 (1) SS24, to whit "the mentioning of monstrous carbunckles is prohibited under this accord" I therefore reverse sweep Heathrow Airport terminal 4 and downsize to Elstree areodrome.

Well now that is a Pedro Um...lifting. Please Expedite Deft Rotation. One is reminded of a legendary Helicopter pilot who snatched his bride from another chap. I say Twotter, if we have spinwings pilots playing MC Short stops are likely.

Hmm, Lancaster Gate, now that does take me back to when I were a wee nipper...

Playing a sidesweep - whilst wearing a blindfold, even [my habits are my own... ] - I believe I can craftily get away with hopping, thus negating the potential for a shunt.

Therefore, good sirs, Earl's Court.

Mr Lifting, if those are indeed the so called Stovold Illegitimates you have in your possession, you are fortunate beyond words. The wealth of information they contain could keep a series of play going for centuries. One is dazed with awe and unable to think more than seven moves ahead, thus a simple Fremantle Skip to

Pimlico?.... Pimlico?!

Ah well, each to his own.

With that [and, what looks like probably being the last play of the weekend] i leave the play teetering on the edge of a working week with Kentish Town West.

Great Portland Street, eh?

Hmm, this requires thought. Im lead to recall a play brought about from the previously mentioned Helsinki Synod, whereby a lateral shift - followed by a brief hold at Waterloo, can bring us neatly round to White City.

My Dear Mr Bear
One finds your Olympia quite amusing although a little dull, therefore by virtue of the move agreed under the Helsinki accord I raise you Crystal Palace

Mr L Plate - you may have omitted to notice that anyone playing a move to Crystal Palace under Helsinki allows the immediately following player to make two free moves. I therefore call

Baker Street

followed by

Mile End

My my, such a fine grasp of the rules you have there, tis a pleasure to participate in the round with such talented individuals.

Mile End? Hmm, well, I believe I can play any of three ways, as it's 8 on a Monday.

Well, if I go via Kew Gardens and avoid Angel, I should get to Limehouse.

Bugger indeed... Dollis Hill has returned... Tricky one.

The last time we had Dollis Hill, it was after a particularly adventurous set of play... now it has come about as an almost routine turn... Though, as we all know, there's nothing routine about Dollis Hill, the very mentioning of the name causes seasoned MCers to shudder and pull their jumpers up over the heads.

However, I am willing to go beyond this [im not wearing a jumper ] and call out, for all to hear: Rickmansworth.

Maybe not ideal, but should avoid knid for a while.
