It demands attention and that is what it sets out to achieve. I find it irritating and patronising but it does what it is meant to do and that I suppose is what matters.

I think it's a nice way to do it in flight, although I think a bit "unprofessional"
but draw your attention much more than the standard briefing which we use to see and listen every day.
I see that is useful to its intent.
