AirOne contract

Caio piloti!
Sorry, i am italian but I do not speak italian, so you will have to deal with my english! I do understand italiano, so feel free to answer in any of the two languages.
I am looking for information for a possible contract to fly CRJ900 for AirOne out of Rome, I would like to speak to AirOne CRJ900 pilots or if anyone has information, I would really appreciate it.
Grazie,
Jeronimo

AirOne City Liner

I agree with Jakie ....... I'm in the "main" AirOne too, and i suppose you can get a better contract in South Africa and - last but not least - you can work there with a batter kind of people.

You have to Know that in the "main" AirOne" a lot of crews are looking for a contract outside of italy; think about the "AirOne low cost".

eheh it s quite funny cause i think i have never met a 100% happy pilot in any part of the world!!
Having said that, I agree with my italian colleagues. Stay where you are.
I know T&C have gone down a lot in the States but Italy is no place to be now, expecially in an Italian company.
Get more hours to go to a better company if you had enough of yours, get a FL base on the beach and you re the winner!

ciao

The Casino!

Dear friends,
I greatly appreciate your comments, but the contract I was reading about sounds just too good: good pay (about twice what I make here in the US), apartment paid by company, 6 month to 1 year contract...
Any info on that?
Jeronimo

Are your sure we are telling about the same company?
Are you speaking about AirOne City liner?
I don't know about the fix or temporary contract, anyway i have a lot of friends there with very different informations:

1)They work normally 28 days per maunth (they have 10 days OFF but they need to give back to the Company at least 2 days OFF per maunth 'cause they are very few crws);

2)The City liner is looking for crews based in Naples (and nobady has a paid apartment by the Company);

3)They work at FTL (JAR FTL) with 5 sectors per day (sometimes)

4)The salary is around 3.000 € (F/O tax already calculated) with 70 Flight hours (the avarage of the fliht time per leg is 50 min.) ..........
.........."Hospital not included" .

Anyway ....... if in those days the situation is changing ........ I' ll be very happy for you. Belive me!

Grazie a tutti

Caio piloti again,

thank you for all your comments, I think I will take magicabula's advice, go see it by myself, if it is not good, go visit the family, then come back.
I fly CRJ200 FO, have SIC type, about 2000hrs total, (1000 PIC, 1000 SIC CRJ). I make U$34/h, (only about u$26 after tax) minimum 75hrs, maximum 100hrs, most times between 12 and 14 days off. Time on duty is away from home, 4 days out max.
If you guys hear something, please post, so far, I know the contract is to fly the CRJ900s...
Ciao!
(Jeronimo)

'NGULO ..... FRA' (ossia = però ...... accidenti...)

Ciao a tutti.

E come? Dicendo a chi vi offriva di passare in Cityliner "No grazie"?

The salary is around 3.000 € (F/O tax already calculated) with 70 Flight hours (the avarage of the fliht time per leg is 50 min.)

Buona giornata a tutti
