Easy new T&Cs
What is the standard take home for FOs and Captains in ezy if based in the continent?
I heard in Mxp the crews have to pay italian income taxes and that lowers the monthly take home to: Fo 3200 € and for Captains to 5500 € (average take home according internal rumors based on 850 hrs a year and 12 monthly payments).
Is it so bad in the other bases? and are those salaries competive in the local market?
Cosa ne pensate delle nuove condizioni per i crew Italiani? any coments Speevy? Fifty?

Hmmm...interesting...
As far as other bases are concerned I can say that as Direct entry SFO LTN based the take home after tax is between 4400 and 4700 Euros depending on sectors flown/leave etc..
I am on the transfer list for mxp and I know that Balpa are well involved and in negotiations with the company about the subject....
Please Keep us in the loop speevy ....
ciao

Clearfortheoption,
for the moment the situation is as HA stated, we are trying hard to find a diff solution but for the moment no luck and even if Balpa is involved...
the fact is that a UK contract taxed in Italy is quite different..

I have been studying this matter quite a lot, since I think in Italy at the moment U2 is the best option in the market if the salaries are not too different from the Uk ones (or as I just found out even from the Spanish ones).
I studied the pallanza convection which states that the income is taxable in the country where the operator as main establishment. this convenction applies to many other cases: FR and Netjets or any other european companies if the employee is resident in Italy.
All the convenctions have the same wording for diff countries (it seems like flight crew and seaman are treated as an exeption).
So why this fuss about irpef unico etc. to me and to some "commercialista" and an expert from the "Agenzia dell'entrate" the only income taxes to be payed are in uk for U2, Ireland for FR and Portugal for Netjets.
Anybody could comment on this?
Speevy?
Snam?
or Tarjet Fixated?
