I mean they're not paying for anything so I doubt there would be anything in a contract stopping you from leaving.. but I imagine it would be quite awkward especially if it was for a different programme at the same flight school. In fact I imagine that the flight school may well block you from doing that (eg. by not letting you apply/interview for it).

Thanks Chris. I'm not sure either, my thoughts on that are that any gaps get filled very fast down there and that nobody takes it personally if you decide to leave for something better especially if you're not bound by a contract. What numbers do you think are through to this interview round and what follows this? Medical?

Stretch19 20th Jul 2018 09:36

I definitely would t be able to say but I haven’t really considered it either. I think only CityFlyer would be able to tell you but I highly doubt they’d want anybody leaving.

EIFlyer 20th Jul 2018 09:55

I read over the last 2 years of BA Cityfler MPL on pprune and there's not mention of contracts. Find out on the day I suppose! Good luck to all.

Wouldn't the medical be independent of the application process like other courses? Typically you are required to obtain a Class 1 Medical before your start date, so some people do it after their interviews and assessments, but to be on the safe side, many do it as early as possible (unless BA are organizing and funding it for you?)

Ah I've already got mine, just wondering what the final step might be. Looking at the previous forum, people got the offer via phone call a day or two after the interview. There are so many steps to the fully funded ones like Aer Lingus do but I think this type is very succinct and short by comparison.

Any no UK/IE candidate has been invited to an interview already?

Stretch19 27th Jul 2018 22:30

Hi inmric. I do not currently live in the uk.

Stretch19 2nd Aug 2018 03:00

How has been everyone else felt about the interviews so far? Personally I’m not feeling to confident, don’t think I showed how much I would love the position. Guess I’ll just be waiting in hope now. Good luck to everyone who still has interviews to come.

Thank you! By the way, all the assessment were held at Manchester isn't it?

Stretch19 4th Aug 2018 22:07

Correct, both phase 3 and 4 were held in Manchester.

Stretch19 9th Aug 2018 22:28

Hi everyone. Has anybody received news yet? I have a missed call that came through last night.

dannyhill94 10th Aug 2018 09:31

I’ve missed a call too yesterday evening. Not hopeful as they normally give the bad news at the end of the day. I’ll wait for them to call again.

SJGPilot 10th Aug 2018 11:04

I got offered the place yesterday at around 5pm local time! Good luck to everyone else!

dannyhill94 10th Aug 2018 12:32

Okay so I thought it was bad news but I’ve been offered a place too. Absolutely over the moon. Any other successes?

Chris4 10th Aug 2018 20:34

Congratulations to those of you who were successful! Out of interest did any of you also find that many of the interview questions were very similar? ie. I had 3 or 4 questions that I'd class under 'conflict at work'?

Stretch19 10th Aug 2018 23:03

Nice work guys. I got to call back yesterday afternoon when everyone is back at work there and was stoked to find out I had been offered a position. We should start a Facebook group or something to get in touch before we start.

Yeah I did find a few like that. I think that’s what made it so challenging, trying to come up with so many examples.

dannyhill94 11th Aug 2018 06:18

Two questions I got were quite similar, to the point they skipped them as I’d answered them in previous questions!

Ill start a Facebook group, if you guys would like to private message your info I’ll add you to it. If there isn’t a group already!

Again, congrats to all.

You can’t use the Private Messaging system, add url links or images until you have an established posting history.

Hey everyone!
Sorry I didn’t see Danny’s comment above before but I’ve set up a group already! have you already set yours up Danny?

PinkPlane 11th Aug 2018 10:55

Hey, Congratulations to you all. I’m really excited to have been offered a place too! Looking forward to it and good idea to start a group
