ftyukon 10th Oct 2018 14:42

Hi vp89, My CQ test was on the 12th of September.

Cocorin 15th Oct 2018 08:58

Can somebody tell what is the approximative level of the short term memory test (like number of characters/series/time). I am all just fine besides this part :ugh:

Cocorin, just try to excel in this part by training yourself. E.g. google something like "short term memory trainer online free".
Good luck with your BQ. When do you have it?

Guys,
Could you share the profile you flew for your sim assessment? PM me. Thanks a lot

Hublot 19th Oct 2018 12:58

Hi guys for the ones that have been to the BQ test, are you allowed to use a calculator?
And if not what sort of math are we talking about, on the sky test thing you can get math word problems with cos sin and tan in them, is it expected that you solve these sorts of question with pen and paper only?

teobera 20th Oct 2018 11:28

Anyone attending the 9th of November for the European Flight Academy?

No calculators. Only pen and paper. I don't know about the complex operations, maybe someone who has already been there could light us up.

Well that leads me to the next question, are you allowed the pen and paper for all of the tests, lets say the memory part, cause that would be pretty easy if you are allowed to write down the combinations to remember.?

FFS A320 VIE sim profile?

Hi guys, passed BQ, already scheduled for sim session, should be in VIE on A320. Could someone share which airport/departure should I expect? Thx.

I've applied for this position, and about 5 or 6 weeks ago, I was sent an email saying that one of my documents was missing. I was told to give them a call, and I did. Sorted it out over the phone, and the person I talked to said that I may receive a call soon. However, haven't heard anything yet, and when I log onto my profile, it still has the message about missing documents and to call them. Has anyone else had this? Does the message just not clear, or do I need to call them again?

sekmeth 3rd Nov 2018 13:55

@alb92,
not sure how they do it know, but some 4 months ago I had the same email, sorted it out via mail and telephone, and got the invitation within 1 week.
Now I already past all assessments and start with Germanwings next month. Things move fast!

AFrotary 4th Nov 2018 19:06

Does anyone know what take home pay to expect at Germanwings/Eurowings GMBH during year 1?

Fieldins 6th Nov 2018 12:54

Has anyone been able to find out, what the pay is during training (Eurowings Europe VIE/PMI)?

From the job advert is states that one will get 1500 euros pr month during training to cover expenses, but further down it states:
"Candidates
  • that already have more than 500 hours of flight experience on an aircraft > 19,5t
  • or are stationed at an Austrian / Spanish location
receive an employment contract incl. compensation with the according Eurowings Group Airline at the start of training."

So does that mean that you get the normal salary + expends paid during training only expenses paid?

I can't pay my bills at home and live for 1500euro a month..?

All other candidates receive a training contract incl. monthly expense allowance of 1500 Euro gross.
