Anyone in Hamburg the 20th December?

Arewerunning 26th Dec 2016 11:16

guys, just for your benefits: the NET pay in EU EW for FOs (sames applies for CPTs) is probably one of the lowest in europe:

FO monthly NET circa 2500 euros
CPT monthly NET circa 4000 euros

Furthermore they bond you for 3 years.

Do everybody a favour and do not apply.

cheers

P40Warhawk 26th Dec 2016 12:07

It is not the best salary. I agree, but tell me where you get better salaries. There are not so many.

New company, there will be strikes and then they will get better conditions.
And a bonding for 3 years? Yeah so? You fly A320. Could have been worse. A Jetstream for instance.

dirk85 26th Dec 2016 12:31

I can't believe there are Captains willing to fly for that kind of money, in Germany. Disgusting. And people saying it's not that bad...

Interestingly enough airberlin is currently in the process if hiring roughly 200 new FOs, mainly for their EWE wetlease operation with a starting salary in excess of 58k € a year gross. And upgrading internally for that as well, starting salary around 135k € for current non-LTU FOs (those get another 20k on top). All under the EWE operation.

Is that a joke?

Germania, Enter Air, Nordica and enough more examples.

Or not even a salary. For instance in Gran Cru. There you have to PAY for 500 hours and during those 500 hrs NO salary.

Tell me then WHERE there are jobs where starting salary is BETTER then Eurowings. I dont say that what EW offers is great, but there are WORSE offers.

Arewerunning 26th Dec 2016 20:43

I see a lot of people might not have grasp the difference between EW EU (eurowings europe, Austria AOC & company) and Eurowings GmbH (German Aoc and company).

I was talking about EW EU...NOT the German company.

Nevertheless, I see from some responses that the salaries should be revised, maybe 1500€ FOs and 3000€ CPTs...

I speak for what I know and any company in Italy or France is offering starting salaries AT LEAST 70% higher than that. Even bloody Wizzair pays more, FFS!
You need to go to Eastern Europe to find lower salaries...

Any feedback from the DLR in Dec 20?
