I completely agree with the previous post, all you need to know is in this thread and the rest is up to you to study.

Is anybody going for the Simulator Screening on the 31st in Hamburg?
Or before that date?

Mlambin 2nd Jul 2018 14:09

Someone went for the FNPT sim screening ? I missed the date on the 19/06 and will call back for an other one.

Any feedback possible?

Anyone got the same mail?
Any preview interview feedback?

Thanks!

I got the e-mail for the 2nd of august. Actually i think itanot the official DLR, something similar.

Should be alright, it's not as hard as the DLR, not the easiest either. It's on a human level.

Simply try to sharpen your short-term memory capacity and review some ATPL from an operational perspective. That is, performance with relationship between the various V speeds, ASDA, TORA, LDA, Clearway, Stopway, fuel requirements, approach minima, planning minima, some meteorology forecast as well as little theory.

As for the maths part it's divided in two parts as far as I know. The first part is normal maths where you can expect basic geometry, trigonometry and questions on speed, distance and time. Mental arithmetic is the second part and one thing I am not sure about is that BODMASS is not followed, but you have to do the calculations from left to right with no precedence given to multiplication or divisions. However, I stand to be corrected on this.

Multitasking will be a FD to keep centered or something similar and buttons to press if a light comes up. Expect also questions to come up.

This is all I know and I have been invited for the 10th of August. Plenty of time to prepare for me. Lucky me!

Being Interpersonal, maybe you should find some information on the DHL/EAT threads here on the forums as well as Pilotenboard. It's a German forum, so you'll have to translate whatever you find.

But it's done on a computer I guess. And After this test, what's the next step of the selection?

Banana Joe 3rd Jul 2018 11:37

Yes it will be done on the computer but for some tests you will have a pen and paper to do your calculations. The next step will be a simulator. Depending on how many hours you have it might be either on a Seneca FNPT II sim or an A320 simulator.

Hi guys,
Just received confirmation I'll be attending the BQ on August 9th. Sorting transportation/hotel right now.
Anybody else coming on the 9th?

PilotJamie 5th Jul 2018 09:34

I shall also be attending on the 10th or August. Having attended a recruitment day in Hannover for the group this week I have to say it seems to be a fantastic place to work so here’s hoping the assessment goes wel!

thanks also to Banana Joe for your post regarding the contents of the assessment.

Good Luck to all any anyone attending on the 10th please feel free to contact me.

Looks like they are recruiting by the bucket when one looks at all those assessment dates.
Anybody aware of the number of candidates screening per day? How many FO they are hiring?

Hi there Johann,

at the recruitment day they stated 200 required by next summer. Very exciting opportunity!

Airone2977 5th Jul 2018 14:07

Hey folks !

I received the email for the BQ testing, does any of you used the dedicated skytest software for preparation ?
Does interpersonnal send you a link for preparation ? If so, is it enough ?
Thank you for your help !

RomanK 5th Jul 2018 14:38

Hi Airone2977,

In my BQ invitation it was said that no special preparation is required and there was 2 of ~9 test model examples available via URL in the mail (two models is how ATPL and English exams looks like). So I didn't use any software for preparation and I passed it. But I should mention that I'm good in math and attention so if you are not - do skytest prep. Unfortunately it is strictly forbidden to disclose what tests are in details.
Awaiting for sim assessment now

Thanks for the update, seems much simpler than DLR testing. I'll use skytest for the preparation, it's my second chance I don't want to spoiled it too fast.
I'm invited for august the 27th, last session scheduled so far.
If there anybody on the same day, feel free to PM me.

Berntl123 9th Jul 2018 18:50

Does anybody know a good preperation tool or website for the english part of the bq?

Banana Joe 9th Jul 2018 19:57

Siro1994 9th Jul 2018 20:01

paulo204 10th Jul 2018 08:25
