Hello everyone,

Can the DLR BU be repeated? As far as I know, there is only one chance to do the test. But in other websites such as Pilotjobsnetwork or even in ATTC (DLR preparation seminar), they state that demand is high and the "only one chance" rule is no longer active.

Could someone clarify this? I hope it is true and there is really another go. Thanks

The BU for any airline within the Lufthansa Group cannot be repeated. But the GU i.e for Ready-Εntry Pilots can be repeated after one year has passed from the day of the actual test.

Hope this helps!

Thanks! I was thinking about the GU (Basic Testing) actually.

After one year, does DLR delete your file, or even with a past negative GU you can sit the test again?

As for your question above, I think this is of great interest to many of us. The DLR Institute holds the secret answer to your question. I would be so much interested to know what exactly they do with someone's data after a negative result and after one year has passed.

For me, it is logical that part of the candidates' results is kept by the DLR for future scientific analysis or for whatever other reason.

Hope this helps!

Good news, even with a negative DLR GU are you still able to apply again?

Yes, even with a negative DLR FU.

Does anyone know what is interpersonal test like? I received mail for basic testing in May and would be nice to know how to prepare for it.

If you passed the DLR with Eurowings Europe last year (I passed it in August), do you guys think these scores will be invalidated? I sure hope not as I'm still waiting for my simulator.

padigs 5th Apr 2018 20:46

Don't worry I passed it in august 2017 as well and we are still eligible for the sim we just need to wait.

Sim screening

Anyone an idea what to expect in the sim? How to prepare?

Hi guys,

I have also been invited to do the DLR test. Any of you guys sitting on T&Cs in EW at the moment? already flying on the bus but interested in PMI base and therefore asking if you have any info before doing the whole process.. Thanks!

Afternoon folks,

Out of interest; would you recommend a U.K. non German speaker apply or is the EW process more limited to either German citizens/speakers?

All the best

I emailed them the other day and they said all applicants are interesting even if you are not an German speaking person.. But tbh I don't know if it makes any difference once in the selection process...

Basic Qualification

Hi fellows,

Anyone of you are attending Basic Qualification at Hamburg 23.05? It would be nice to be in touch with someone who is invited too!

I would like to find this out too! ^^

Don't want to pay £££ on SkyTest and then find out I've been preparing for the wrong test...

Any update to what they offer? what s the time between entering and upgrading to the left seat, is it seniority or hours? How do they choose your base?
Thanks in advance,
