Hi, just as a guide I got an invite today which took only 4 days from submitting the application.

What is your experience level and how soon are the assessments?

Wg100, 600 hours jet time (A320) and 850 total. Assessments dates are from the middle of August.

I applied late on Saturday night. 2500hrs total, 1800 Jet...no reply.

Assessments booking Aug 11 today. Aug 8 and Aug 10 were available yesterday but now all gone.

sound like they don't want guys with 2000h or more.

I bet they don't recruit(just satisfy some UK law about employment)or just looking around or have already selected who they want.

I like the segment split BA has gone for but dont fully get the ratio it went for.

With 4-6 flights a day on shorthaul ops that means its possible to meet segment requirement within 1-2 months but it takes over 5 months to reach the hours?

Judging by what we're seeing here, it seems a lot of people are getting August dates.

Can someone please clearly explain the difference between P1, P2, Captain and Dual hours for the BA application? Thanks.
