I don't know, put you on the future 747-800 ;).

good luck to you as well, may the force be with ya.

TURIN 19th Jul 2011 22:11

I'm not a pilot so bare with me a moment.

Rumour has it that BA will be recruiting engineering staff soon too. Why the sudden big push on recruiting? Is the demographic that bad? Is the 787/A380 going to put too much pressure on the current batch?

Just askin. :ok:

WBpilot410 20th Jul 2011 11:53

I got the thank you, but no thank you email.
Anyone else?

What was your experience when you applied?

Cheers

binsleepen 21st Jul 2011 17:21

Assessments booking Aug 11 today. Aug 8 and Aug 10 were available yesterday but now all gone.

DctMopas were you previously in the hold pool?

Regards

captainsuperstorm 23rd Jul 2011 08:09

sound like they don't want guys with 2000h or more.

I bet they don't recruit(just satisfy some UK law about employment)or just looking around or have already selected who they want.

segments

I like the segment split BA has gone for but dont fully get the ratio it went for.

With 4-6 flights a day on shorthaul ops that means its possible to meet segment requirement within 1-2 months but it takes over 5 months to reach the hours?

Dihaz 26th Jul 2011 13:07

Any news guys?

Good Luck...

BA recruitment

Does anyone know if BA will accept an ATPL license issued in Ireland?

ba038 27th Jul 2011 21:30

Dct_Mopas - "600 hours jet time (A320) and 850 total"

Which airline?

Did you do intergrated or modular training?

BugSpeed 28th Jul 2011 10:10

Anyone got 14th Sept?

PM me.

turn_in_too 28th Jul 2011 10:59

Any turbo prop drivers heard back yet? If so, what was your experience and when did you apply?

Seventy9 28th Jul 2011 19:59

BA

Thanks for your reply,
I had seen their website and the requirements...I have a lot of turboprop time and was wondering if anyone with an Irish license had been lucky enough to get a call.
Wishful thinking on my part!

virtualaviation 10th Aug 2011 05:08

Judging by what we're seeing here, it seems a lot of people are getting August dates.

n9537q 12th Aug 2011 03:19

Can someone please clearly explain the difference between P1, P2, Captain and Dual hours for the BA application? Thanks.
