EMIRATES airline is coming to Edinburgh on January 24 to recruit the next generation of First Officers for its expanding flight-deck crew.
The Dubai-based international airline is inviting experienced first officers to attend the recruitment session at the Apex City Hotel in the city's Grassmarket.

Kinda weird that they fly out of Glasgow but recruit in Edinburgh:confused:

Is this a hint there might be a change of destination soon?

I wouldn't read that into their choice of location for the "job fair".
They are also making a tour of the USA, and stopping all over the place, many of the locations are not places they usually fly into.

Theory number 1:
They're going where they don't fly because they want to find candidates who have not already applied.

Theory number 2:
The people doing the fairs want to see cities other than those the company flies.

Perhaps EK have heard the QR rumours and are poaching suitable applicants in advance?

They are going around all the FR bases :}
