flying usa

evening all

planning on going to Florida early 2004 to embark on one of those suspiciously cheap hours-building courses, commonly found in the back of the magazines. Trying to build up to 200 hours, then starting CPL groundschool in UK, unsure whether to do modular/integrated yet, and probably stick with Cabair who I did my PPL with...

Has anybody used these block-rate courses in the USA?
Also are they frowned upon by the airlines in any way?

appreciate any remarks/outrage

Thanks TFMonty

Got used to flying in Australia, bit sunnier than Kentish weather and less aircraft to dodge. Also funny accents

I have just come back from Florida they are as cheap as they say but if u are not very carefull you can spend lots and lots on the "extras" like a/c upgrades maps.........
