Question Britannia Info

Hi all,

Would like to get some info on the selection process of Britannia (for S/O's and F/O's) regarding the different stages. I know there's a lot of stuff around on the board on this matter, but I didn't succeed in finding it yet.
Regarding the sim check; what profiles will be flown, what sim will be used, location, etc. But ANY info would be more than welcome!
I would be very grateful to the one providing me that info or any advice on where to find it.

Cheers,
P J

Hi,

I've heard that Britannia do the sim check at Luton, and you have to fly a 75' sim on selected SID/STAR's using just the RMI...I;m not quite sure on this though.

Sounds interesting lol

I might try that with the RMI on flight sim.

As long as the SID hasn't got alot of turns

Been looking into sponsership with Britannia, but like most of the airlines I have looked into, they are looking for pilots with past flying.

I have only done about 1 1/2 hours with the Air cadets

At one time the SIM ride was done at GECAT at LGW and the HS125 or B732. SID was a WIZAD out of LGW for S/O's flown a few times all manually and they looking for better each time. Interview and pscyho done on the day too at GECAT.

F/O's SIM different but dont know what !

Whilst you're looking around, better brush up on your spelling in order to avoid being labelled illiterate, as well as lazy, by the wannabees thought police

The usuall requirements seem to be 5 GCSE's A* - C grade.

And then 2 A-levels.

Although some airlines may ask for more than 5 GCSE's A* - C

With regards to DEP, there are no minimum educational requirements to apply....airlines obviously have a preference but if you've got an ATPL, they trust you know what 2+2 is and 10+10 is etc.

They ask for A Levels however when sponsoring, and certainly perfer degrees aswell...after all they are gona spend nearly £100,000 on you...
