Include simulator time on CV?

I know a guy who didn't know anybody, let alone what the aircraft the airlines aircraft looked like. He was given a copy of airliner world to help him. He got the job. And now knows what a 757 looks like. He didn't know anybody and was low hours.

Many moons ago when I got my first job I had a load of Trident Time written in the back of my logbook. A freind of mine and I used the sim it as we considered it far more usefull than paying 70 quid doing circuits in a 152, we used BA SOP's when in it. When I went for an interview I made it quite clear that the time was unoficial and was not logged as such, I did not add it to my total time but did put it in the covering letter when I applied with an elxplanation. This acheived two things the employer knew I could still fly on instruments it being a year since my IR, secondly it helped get my further up the pile of CV's.
I got a job on a 737 with 260 Hrs and the sim check was a breeze.
Use it to sell yourself and just be honest about it would be my advice.
