Lightbulb To fly an airplane - as a job in the future ?!?

First of all let me say Hello to all of you here. This is my first post on this forum.
I really respect some people's opinion here, so I came here with one simple question that
bothers me.
I don't think that this section (Wannabee) is the real one for this question but this
is the closest one for it.

Please correct me if I am wrong, but at this moment I think that the pilot job is not for everyone.
That the pilots are consider as elite people. In the general speaking they are not in the crowd
of the rest of people; they are little higher (watching from above the whole world)

We are all witnesses of very fast growing aviation industry. I wonder what will be in 20-30
years with the job of pilot. Will it be still proud to be a pilot or the pilot job will be the
job like todays bus driver.( I appologize to every bus driver, I didn't want to degrade anyone.)

Best wishes to all...

Who knows, eh? We might be like bus drivers. However, we'll still have a view, and as long as it pays enough to keep me in new trainers and computer games then that's ok with me.

Being a pilot also often comes with the added bonus of not having to decide what to wear every morning. It's becoming a real bind.

Ciao!
