check your private mail, visitor.

forget AVTECH. they made some promises and didn't stick with them. Also, how come their 200 rating costs more than some 300 or NG ratings in some of the new JAR countries (Czech Republic, Germany)?

Devil

Avtec have the 737-200 course but I know the Ryans still use GECAT in LGW. Ryanair's website has a list of approved TRTO's so check that out.
It's alot to spend without the guarantee of a job.

I would be very carefull about selecting a 737-200 sim course as a lot of these sims are a bit on the old side now and are about as reliable as a second hand lawnmower.

For the NG consider www.CAE.COM/aviationtraining or www.GECAT.COM.

Be aware of brokers they have only value if they are cheaper than going direct or can add flying the real aircraft! Do not pay up front for brokers!!

Do not go for a type rating if you have no job lined up or no line experience after the TQ. For that I can recommend Astreaus through bond aviation.

Good luck

Be a bit wary of the Bond/Astreus course - I've heard some reports of low standards of training. No offence to anyone who has done the course - just what I've heard and felt it should be passed on.

Where do you want to do the training. The london area would be fine for me. Time window for me would be two months.
