Hello everyone,
I recently completed an integrated ATPL course and am currently applying for airline positions.
One of the applications asks for “Progress check reports (IFR, VFR, MCC)”.
My flight school sent me the original handwritten cross-check reports from training, including instructor comments and weaker grades from earlier stages. The reports are in German and quite detailed.
I had assumed they were referring to more general training summary reports (theory and practical training overviews showing overall grades and confirmation that all final exams / skill tests were passed on first attempt), rather than the full internal handwritten check sheets.
Is this really what airlines usually expect?
Thanks in Advance

I'd probably check with your flight school mentioning which airline you're applying to. Chances are they'll have produced dozens of these reports and will know exactly what the airline will want.
If the flight school are unsure, contact the airlines recruitment department and see what they want. But yes, I would assume they're looking for a high-level summary.

The ATOs I attended in the U.K. used FlightLogger. It provides instructor feedback from each flight/sim session. I’m not sure if your flight school used such a platform but it’s relatively easy to obtain copies of these reports by downloading them from the FlightLogger website. I completed some years ago now though so appreciate things may have changed.
